Mohni shook her head "Nobody spoke it. The last time we spoke about your honeymoon, it was supposed to be in Hawaii. What happened? How did you end up in Goa?"

Karan was yet to be convinced. He looked at her with frustration. She had men around, they might have told her about the attack. 

"I went to Goa and on the third day, which was supposed to be our last day there, we were followed by assassins. They tried to kill me and my wife."

Her hands flew to her lips immediately. Even though she did not like him, she had never wished him death. Mohni spoke "I have no idea. Even if I wanted to kill you, I won't risk Priyanka. She is taking care of my child, isn't she?"
