"I was with Aanya" She did not lie. But whatever happened at the cinema was kept away from him.

"Then that's good" Karan sat on the couch. "You annoyed me already."

Priyanka got up from the bed. She sat opposite him and asked, "did I?"

"Yes. You ruined my mood" Karan said, covering his face with his hands. He took a deep breath and wondered why she was doing this to him.

"I'm sorry, sir" she apologized. 

He looked up and saw that innocent face again "Can I ask you a question?"

"N-no...yes you can."

Karan laughed. She was confused all of a sudden. He gazed at her intensely. What was he going to ask?

"Do you have feelings for me? Do you see a future with us?" 

His questions confused her the more. She rubbed her palms together. Her lips worked but words did not come out. It was difficult to tell him. Of course, she liked him and that's the reason why she hated herself. 

Why did she love the wrong man?
