章節 68: I WANT TO GO HOME

When Lexine came to, the first thing she noticed was the terrible smell. The smell was very acidic and filled her nostrils making her feel like gagging. Lexine slowly opened her eyes, coming to face the bright room she was in. She lay on her back as she looked at the ceiling which was painted white. She stared at the ceiling for a few seconds, allowing her eyes to focus, and remembering what had happened before she passed out. She coughed twice, trying to rid her throat of the dry feeling it had.

The memories flooded into her mind as she recounted what had happened to her. She shot up from her position, remembering that Quira had gotten harmed. She looked around the room and noticed that she was in a communal ward. Five other people lay on their respective beds. Lexine threw the covers off of her. Her wrist felt like it was burning. She looked down at the bandaged wrist, resisting the urge to scratch it. She had just swung her feet off of the bed when someone walked into the room.
