As soon as he came back home, Jake started to write. It’s not like he could sleep or anything. He wrote and wrote and then it was morning. However, the more he wrote the more he frowned. The image of Ryder back in her backyard wouldn’t leave his head and he couldn’t concentrate anymore. He wanted to put that image in his book, but he couldn’t. This only angered him to the point of screaming. And that explained the animalistic noises.

/"Thank God!/" Jake heard Jeremy say. The moment the words reached his ears, he got up immediately.

/"What are you thankful for??? I'm stuck you idiot./" Jake punched his shoulder fiercely. However, instead of punching back like he usually would, Jeremy laughed. And obviously Jake didn't expect that. /"Are you mentally challenged?/"
