Eira was starting to get impatient, she had been waiting at her spot for almost an hour, and yet there hasn't been a single student coming at her yet. She had created a makeshift couch just to relax and nearly fell asleep.
"Are they trying to avoid me? That can't be right? They know they have to fight me to pass the exam right?" Eira mumbled to herself. "There's no way they can get to the escape route without getting through me."
As if on queue, two familiar students of Class 1-A arrived on the battlefield. A green haired boy and one that was all about explosions.
"It's about time you guys arrived." Eira said as she got up from the couch, the ice cracking into pieces. "I've been waiting."
"Bakugo! This is one of the strongest heroes we're about to fight against! We can't just charge in there and fight her!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"It doesn't matter! We'll break through her ice and once we've done that, I'll explode her face!" Bakugo yelled.
"I'm not a hero at the moment, you guys. As of right now, I am the strongest villain you'll be going against. I am the Hero Killer, Zero."
Eira's grin made the two feel shivers down their spine, they didn't know why, but they were being reminded of Stain. But the opponent in front of them were much stronger, more capable, and -
"A villain isn't going to let you think, you should know that as a pro hero."
Midoriya felt a strong pressure of killing intent behind him, however, before he could even charge up the power of his quirk. There was a sharp pain on his arm as he was sent flying to the wall.
Bakugo wasted no time and instantly charged at Eira who was standing still.
"You should be more aware of your surroundings, Bakugo. Defeating me shouldn't be the only thing on your mind, come up with something." Eira said.
"Huh?" Bakugo muttered before his chin was hit with a pillar of ice that erupted from the ground. "Ow!"
"Bakugo!" Midoriya yelled. "Damn it!"
Chiyo Shuzenji, also known as Recovery Girl, was the nurse of U.A High school as well as a spectator of the fight along with a few other students in another room.
"From the looks of it, they're not even going to get a scratch on Zero. If they can even touch her, they would deserve to pass the exam instantly." Shuzenji said.
"Um…how strong is Eira- I mean Zero? I've mostly heard stories about her and have only seen a glimpse of her abilities." Uraraka said.
"Hmm, how strong is she?" Shuzenji muttered, pondering. "As of right now, she's barely using one percent of her full abilities."
"Eh?" Urakaka was left in shock. "You mean to say that she's beating both of them without even trying?"
Shuzenji nodded, "The two need to form some sort of teamwork, well I guess either way, they're not going to be able to beat Zero."
"My brother told me a story when he worked with her once on a mission to take down one of the villains." Ida said. "He said she took him down all alone without needing his help. Her control over her quirk, combat sense, and her proficiency in weapons were all top notch. She was a hero capable of everything."
"You mean to say that she has the potential to surpass even All Might?" Momo asked.
Tenya nodded his head, "Although she's not ranked among the pro hero list yet, we can safely say that she's at least top five, if not, then top three."
"But her quirk is not the scariest thing about her."
All eyes turned to Shuzenji and waited for the explanation.
"She's smart, extremely smart. Her spatial awareness is by far the best among all the heroes, ambushing her is the same thing as leading yourself to a tiger's den. Just watch the screen."
Currently, Eira was simultaneously fending off Midoriya and Bakugo's attacks without breaking a sweat. Dodging kicks, explosions, and even well planned sneak attacks that were hard to deflect.
However, Eira could do it, even with her eyes closed.
"Uncoordinated attacks, the two of you are blindly attacking me, hoping that it'll land somehow. Are you thinking lowly of me?"
Just then, the two felt an extreme amount of pressure on their shoulders. Midoriya glanced up to see that there was a glint in Eira's eyes. That's when he realized it again, Eira was no ordinary hero, she was on a level of her own.
"Damn it!" Midoriya exclaimed as he built up the power of his quirk. "I'll break through! No matter what!"
Suddenly, Eira appeared in front of him, and his eyes widened in fear as well as surprise.
"Yelling doesn't make you stronger, in fact, you're just alerting the enemy of your future attack." Eira said.
Eira's fist connected with Midoriya's stomach and he was blasted into a wall of ice. Midoriya could've sworn he heard a crack and coughed up blood.
Before Bakugo could land his propelling attack, his face was grabbed which stopped his plan of attack. He held out his arm and shot explosions, however, the range of the explosions was too short to impact Eira.
"Those explosions of yours will never reach me, they're similar to you. No matter how bigger of an impact you make or how strong you become, there will always be an endless wall that separates you from me." Eira said.
Bakugo gritted his teeth, "Shut up and die!"
He persevered with all his strength but was only met with a pillar of ice that shot him into the sky. Pain spread throughout his body, he had pushed himself to the limits, yet still couldn't land a single hit on Eira.
He was about to fall directly on the ground when someone extremely familiar saved him just in time.
"Zero, don't you think you're going too far?"
Eira glanced behind and saw the person that called to her.
"Too far?" Eira questioned him in disbelief. "A villain will go further than this, those with no morals will do whatever it takes to take down their target. This is preparation, injuries are unavoidable, this is the real world, All Might."
"You're right, but as of right now, they are just students. Inexperienced heroes that have yet to fully step into the world of ours." All Might said.
"It seems like we have different views, the world you live in is different from mine. I could let you into my world right now, the final exam is still going on right? I'm a villain, you're a hero. Why don't you come and apprehend me?"
Midoriya was heading towards the escape route while carrying Bakugo, but he froze when he heard what Eira had suggested.
"Are they going to fight?" he muttered.
Midoriya wasn't sure whether to feel scared or excited, he knew that All Might was insanely strong, he was the number one hero after all. However, he's heard many stories regarding Zero, and how strong she truly is.
But then he continued to walk past the escape route, not wanting to be part of their squabble.
"As of right now, the exam has ended since Midoriya, and Bakugo successfully made it past the escape route." All Might said.
Eira glanced at the two to see that All Might's words were true.
"Alright then." Eira said, unimpressed. "It seems like my role here is over."
"Zero, you are a strong hero, that I acknowledge. But be careful to not step over the line, the Hero Association won't hesitate to apprehend you if you misstep." All Might said.
"Hahaha! The line? I've long stepped over the line, the Hero Association cannot do anything about me. After all, they need me." Eira said with a grin.
With those final words, Eira decided to walk away, a frown evident on her expression. If she had stayed any longer, she felt like she would've actually started a fight against All Might.
"Number one hero, yet still naive."
