As he touched the helm, her bloody hands wrapped around his wrist, and she shook her head. Telling him not to do it.

But he steeled his mind and removed the helm.

His entire body froze as he stared at the black-haired beauty whose lips and chin were coated in blood, yet her eyes shone brightly.

She stretched out her arm and removed his mask, and a blissful smile graced her lips. "It's… you. The… bastard that left me," her weak voice made Derek drop to his knees whilst his icy aura vanished.

As she caressed his face with her bloody hands, Derek closed his eyes and carried her princess style. "I… I hate you for leaving me…" she whispered whilst her eyelids got heavy.

Even while she spoke those words, her grip on his clothes couldn't be any tighter. 

"Kid, I can-..." Christopher couldn't complete his words for a sonic boom echoed and Derek vanished along with Li Mei.
