章節 21: Orientation Day 1 pt 1
Jung Kook's POV
When I stepped into the university, I felt insecure because I felt like there were eyes peering at me. When I turn around and saw a group of girls holding banners wishing me all the best in my studies. I was so grateful for them as they didn't try to invade my personal space but decide to stand there quietly holding banners of me without screaming when they saw ne, Their actions almost moved me to tears as I never would have thought that one day I will be able to achieve the state where I am now. This is all thanks to all my hyungs and the company for helping me and taking care of me. I still remember the 15 year old me who came to Seoul without knowing anything. I was lucky that Big Hit entertainment was willing to accept me as their trainee. The reason why I choose to audition at Big Hit was because of Nam Joon hyung. I felt that he was so cool when I first saw his music video on their official Youtube page.
I walked towards those girls and said "Thank you for wishing me. You guys should go home. It's so cold. Hurry up and go home so that you guys would not catch a cold. I'm sure your parents would be worried if you guys are sick. I'm very very thankful that you guys are willing to stand in such a cold weather just to wish me all the best. Don't worry I will work very hard so that everything you guys did for us will be worth of your time."
After I said those words, they walk away after bowing to me. I know by the way they walked, they are shy that I actually notice them doing things discreetly for me. As I walked to the auditorium for the orientation, I had to walk pass the university garden. As I was walking pass the garden, I could hear the sound of a beautiful melody. I decided to walk towards that sound risking the fact that I might be late for my orientation. As I walk deeper into the garden, the sound became clearer and I saw a beautiful maiden standing near a fountain blowing a flute. The sound of the flute was so sweet and alluring as if telling a happy story. As I walk closer to the girl, I saw a familiar shadow on her but I couldn't point out who. When she realized my existence, I was already standing in front of her.
"Hello, I didn't mean to startle you but the melody of the song its so nice and beautiful." I said.
"Oh thank you. It's been a while since I've last played this song. I didn't expect anyone to hear it." She replied.
"I'm sorry but what's your name? Mine is Jung Kook." I said.
Right after I said those words, her phone suddenly rang.
"Sorry I need to take this call." She said and left before I could say anything else. I watch as her back disappear into the garden.
