章節 145: Her Favourite

Lilac's POV

"Yah how can you go down without covering up yourself?" I said in a scolding tone.

I was so worried when I saw him went down without a mask or cap to cover himself. I almost got down but I was worried that there were paparazzi that would capture the picture of the two of us so I could only sit in the car waiting anxiously.

"I was too excited when I saw the store. This is for you." Yoon Gi said.

I didn't expect him to stop at the stall just to buy my favourite kimbap.

"Thank you. Let's eat this together at my apartment. You bought more than enough for one person." I said.

"Sure." Yoon Gi replied while showing his gummy smile.

'Oh my heart'. I turn my head around so that I could calm down. That smile of his really makes me melt for him. But why did I forget him? Why didn't I forget those horrible memories that I've been trying to forget? I wonder why is there so less car today. Usually there would be a lot of cars at this hour since everyone is going home after work. So, we reached my apartment pretty fast since there were no traffic. After waiting for Yoon Gi to park his car, we went to my apartment together. Luckily this time he remembers to put on his cap and face mask. The landlord aunty just smiled at me when I walk pass her. I wonder what is she thinking about. I open my apartment door quickly and let Yoon Gi in.

"Make yourself at home." I said.

I went to the kitchen to put the kimbap on the plate and brought out some kimchi from the fridge to eat along with the kimbap. I separate the kimchi into two plates and the kimbap as well.

"Yoon Gi come and eat. What drink do you want?" I said.

"Do you have americano?" Yoon Gi asked.

"No only juice and milk." I said.

"Ok then I'll have banana milk then." Yoon Gi said.

I went to the fridge to take two bottles of banana milk for the two of us. We sat down and eat quietly. Although I am very tempted to look at him when he's eating but I don't dare to. When I look up, I caught him looking at me. I thought that he would turn his gaze away but he didn't.

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked.

"It's been a while since I get to look at you eating. Just the two of us." Yoon Gi said.

I just continue eating and didn't say anything after that. After the two of us are done with the food, I took the dishes to wash. Yoon Gi wanted to help but I didn't let him.

"Are you going back after this?" I asked.

"Yeah." Yoon Gi said.

"Ok. I'll send you off." I said.

"It's ok. I can go off on my own. You can continue washing the dishes." Yoon Gi said.

"Ok." I said without turning to him because I have this feeling in me which I want him to stay.

He took me by surprise when he hugged me from the back.

"Lilac-ah, I will wait for you.�� Yoon Gi said and left.

I felt a slight disappointment when he let go. I just don't want him to let go so easily but what could I do. I don't have much memory about us either.
