章節 37: Confrontation

Lilac's POV

All this while I was wrong, I was at fault. I shouldn't have let them suffer like that. It was somehow or rather my fault as the truth prevails. If I hadn't changed my social media account in the midst of anger, we wouldn't have become like this. I shouldn't have acted rashly. I felt so stupid now.

"Lilac so how come you're here but Ji An isn't?" Jimin asked.

"Well it's because she didn't get the scholarship to come here. You guys know our family is not that rich so she couldn't come here. Maybe I was just lucky to get the scholarship. But I'm glad to meet you guys again." I said.

"Oh. How is she doing anyway?" V asked.

"She's doing pretty fine as she had gotten a scholarship from a local university back there." I said.

"Oh I see." V said.

"How is your studies here so far? It must be hard for you to cope with the language here right?"

Nam Joon asked.

"I'm trying my best to cope with the language. It's just a matter of time for me to really understand fully. I'm still new to all this. Even the culture. But since I've been liking you guys and Korean delicacies are also one of my favourite so I don't think it's a big problem for me to adapt to the culture here. Moreover with Jung Kook in the same uni as I am I think I'll be okay." I said.

"Ah I see. I really hope that you would continue to stay here even after you finish studying. We could really hang out well together. But for now it's best for you to focus on your studies first. I know that it's not easy for you but we will always be here to support you." Jin said.

"I'll thank you guys first but I still have to learn quite a lot of things on my own as I don't want to be too reliable on you guys." I said.

"It's ok if you're too reliable on us. We will still continue to support you no matter what." Jimin said.

"Why don't you stay for dinner tonight?" V asked.

"Should be ok but I have some homework to do so you guys can just do your own stuff. Don't need to be here and entertain me actually." I said.

"No I don't want to be separated with you. It's been so long since we last talk so long. I promise that I'll behave. Just let me sit here and look at you. Please Lilac… Please...." Jimin begged with his puppy eyes. He knows that everyone will give in once they see him doing that and I also don't have the heart to reject him.

"Alright but promise me that you will keep quiet." I said sternly.

"I promise. Thank you Lilac." Jimin exclaimed while hugging me. Tell me who wouldn't love such a cute little boy.

I was happy that they are willing to forgive me and I could see Yoon Gi in real life again. I glance at him a few time and there's one time that he caught me looking at him. I quickly turn my head away and felt that my skin is burning up.

"Lilac are you okay? Why is your face so red?" Jimin said.

"I'm fine. It's just that I'm feeling a bit hot." I said.

"Oh. Ok then. I'll put the air conditioner temperature higher." Jimin said.
