The streets of Silver Lake were deserted as news of the attack had reached every household, instilling fear in the hearts of the inhabitants of the land. 

"What's up with you? You look like you're not in great shape." Skye pointed out while giving Gideon a side glance.

They were currently running through one of the deserted streets in their wolf form, headed for the north district, but Gideon was running way slower and uncoordinated, unlike his usual self.

"Nothing. I'm fine. Let's keep going." Gideon responded, looking ahead and trying to put himself together.

"Nothing? You look like you're struggling yet you are saying you're fine."

"Since when did you start caring?" Gideon queried, his voice having an edge to it. 

Taken aback by his question, Skye narrowed his eyes, now sure something was seriously wrong with the guy.
