The sudden development in the house overwhelmed Karina. She didn't know whether to be happy or worried that they all were blocking her from the reach of the intruders, who she already figured out were vampires.

Roy was badly injured and the fact that he has gone quiet gave Karina concern. Still, she couldn't take her eyes away from what was happening right in front of her. 

Zara's wolf was bleeding by the left hind leg, The other wolf was also bleeding, but she couldn't point out where exactly. The only people who had no blood on them were she, Mrs. Anthony, and the vampires. 

Two against eleven, counting only the two wolves against the vampires, they were greatly outnumbered. Apart from that, the vampires had speed as an advantage. 

When the vampires charged, Zara and Barry got ready to fight with all they've got, but their enemy's feet came to a sudden halt halfway when Karina screamed "STOP!"
