When Aldric teleported, he should have arrived right in the middle of the room, however, thanks to the ward the witch set up, he was forcefully rerouted and ended up right outside her door. 

His glacial eyes glowed with lethal fury and it was no wonder Derek who had been keeping guard at the door jumped to his feet, startled by the unexpected arrival. However, the Fae's eyes went wide with both disbelief and fear when he realized it was no other than the infamous dark prince. 

What were the odds of Prince Aldric appearing tonight? Nil. They had made sure to cover up every loophole and even had Issac swear an oath to them that he wouldn't let out the secret.
