"I'll help you out," Meng Dezhou said in a low voice, his words leaving no room for refusal.

The Design Department and the CEO's office were on the same floor.

Jiang Xianmei swallowed a gulp, thinking that Meng Dezhou was just trying to help her, and nodded.

Meng Dezhou helped Jiang Xianmei to her workstation before he turned to leave.

"Thank you, Mr. Meng," Jiang Xianmei quickly said.

Upon hearing her, Meng Dezhou nodded and left. Soon, many employees in the Design Department gathered around her, expressions of curiosity on their faces.

"Designer Jiang, how come you were assisted upstairs by Mr. Meng? He's usually so aloof and always looks so stern!"

Jiang Xianmei pointed to her foot, her lips pursed helplessly as she spoke, "I got hit by a car on my way home from work yesterday, injured my foot. Mr. Meng happened to see me when I got out of the car downstairs, and he kindly helped me up."
