The early morning hustle and bustle of Canal Street in New York City was in full swing as customers eagerly queued up outside Isekai Café, waiting for their daily dose of caffeine. One customer, annoyed by the long line, nudged the old cashier who was sleeping on the job.
"Sir, sir, please wake up, the queue is long," he pleaded.
Just then, the café's bell rang, signaling the arrival of a new customer. "Oh shit, it's happening again," he muttered, seeing the line of caffeine addicts stretching around the block.
"If it weren't for the good coffee and food here, I wouldn't even bother coming to this café," grumbled another customer in the queue.
"And where did the owner hire this old man who likes to sleep?" chimed in another customer.
The frustration was palpable as everyone in the queue anxiously waited for their turn to order. "Call the owner, I'll be late for work!" exclaimed one customer.
"I can order breakfast at McD which is not far from here, but my day isn't complete without drinking coffee here" Stated one customer.
Another customer added, "I also can't function without my morning coffee from this place, even if it means being late for work."
Finally, a regular customer spoke up. "Relax, everyone. The owner is just across the road, dropping off his daughter at the school bus stop. He'll be here soon."
Just then, a young adult with a handsome face and a white-haired, Asian ethnic person walked into the café. "Ah, Mr. Ken has arrived!" exclaimed the customer.
"Where is Mr. Ken from? We've been waiting for you," teased one of the female customers, who was trying to catch Ken's attention by bending down and showing off her cleavage.
Ken, the owner of Isekai Café, just smiled and brushed off the flirtatious gesture. "I just took Torunn to the school bus," he replied.
But Ken's attention was soon diverted to the sleeping old cashier. "Tony's old man is sleeping again," pointed out one of the customers.
Ken quickly made his way over to the cashier and tapped him on the shoulder. "Old Stank, wake up! I just stepped out for a bit and you're already dozing off," he scolded.
Tony, the old cashier, just smiled shyly and replied, "Oh, sir Ken is back. I was just meditating."
"Okay, you see the queue is long, quickly enter their orders into the computer so I can make them quickly," Ken instructed Tony.
Despite the chaos caused by the old cashier's napping habit, Isekai Café had become a popular spot in just over a month, thanks to its delicious coffee and food. But with the café's success came a new set of challenges that Ken would have to face head-on if he wanted to keep his customers happy.
Ken Ichizawa, the owner of the Isekai Cafe, wiped his forehead as he rushed to prepare the customer's order. He couldn't help but think, "I need a new companion." With a deep sigh, he entered his subconscious, a place where he could summon companions to accompany and protect him in the MCU world.
On the ceiling of his subconscious, he saw a large screen that read "Marvel Unlimited Companion." He noticed many glass tubes, larger than an adult's coffin, containing thick black liquid, except for three tubes. Two tubes held clear liquid and a person, while the other tube held a pitch-black liquid with spots of light purifying it. Ken found a tube containing a purifying light.
The screen displayed,

Name: Natalia Romanova (Black Spider)
Origin: Earth-TRN425.
A former spy by the name of Black Widow from Russia, on a mission was bitten by a radioactive spider and got various spider powers. He later changed his name to Black Spider and gave up his spy status to become an adventurer and ally of the Terrific Trio. [Remaining Time: 3 Months]"
A week before 2009 New Year's, Ken Ichizawa woke up in a daze. He found himself in a strange world, the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He couldn't comprehend what was happening until he saw his surroundings - a 3-story building that he inherited from his parents of this world. The building had a cafe business on the first floor, which this world Ken had been running with his exceptional coffee brewing and cooking skills since childhood.
As he explored his new world, Ken felt lonely on the eve of the New Year as he had no family or friends around. Suddenly, he heard a voice in his head that granted him the ability to summon companions or friends to accompany and protect him in the MCU world. Was it heaven or One Above All answering his prayers?
Ken's first companion was Torunn Thorsdóttir, the 9-year-old daughter of Thor and Sif, who he adopted as his daughter and renamed Torunn Ichizawa. She was followed by the old Anthony Stark, Sorcerer Supreme of 2099, who Ken affectionately called and renamed Tony Stank.
Each person summoned by the system provided a valid American ID card with a name that Ken could change. They were all loyal and obedient to Ken. But Tony Stank, in particular, stood out as he was a grumpy old man who always fell asleep while manning the cashier's computer. His customers often complained about the long queues and the old man's habit of dozing off
Ken knew he had found his new companion. He checked the canister and returned to reality, rushing to prepare the customer's orders. Time slipped by, and he realized that it was already lunchtime, and the Isekai Cafe was about to close.
"Sir Ken, before closing, can you turn on the TV? My friend sent a message that there is important news on TV," one customer requested.
On the TV, the latest news reported that Tony Stark was missing after a terrorist attack intercepted his motorcade yesterday afternoon. His customers were shocked by the news. Tony Stark, a brilliant inventor, was a prominent figure in the MCU world, and his disappearance caused widespread concern.
The news anchor went on to explain that Tony Stark had successfully sold his latest weapon, the Jericho missile, to the US Air Force in Afghanistan. However, on his way back to the nearest US military base, he and his entourage were attacked by an unknown group of terrorists. The entire entourage was killed, and Tony Stark himself disappeared from the scene.
The government was still investigating the incident, and it was unclear why the terrorists had attacked Tony Stark's entourage.
"Oh no the price of the stock I just purchased will probably go down," said the customer after hearing the news on tv.
"Don't worry, the government will definitely find and save Tony Stark," Ken said
"I hope! Hope they find Tony Stark before the terrorists decapitate him" said the customer earlier
"I'm sure Stark will survive, won't old man Stank," Ken asked the old wizard.
"Ha?? Yes, of course, Mr. Ken" replied the old wizard surprised when he almost fell asleep.
Moments later the cafe was closed after all the customers had gone home.
"Jarvis please clean up the cafe," Ken said.
Then several red cylindrical drone robots flew around cleaning the cafe.
Ken walked towards the old wizard.
"How were sales today Stank?" Ken asked.
"Better than yesterday, Mr. Ken," said old Stank.
"I told you if it's just the two of us you just call me Ken"
"I am someone who is quite serious in carrying out his role Mr. Ken, this is my principle" old Stark answered with a smile.
"About the news just now, are you seriously not willing to help your counterpart in this world?" Ken asked
"We've discussed it, Mr. Ken, without his destiny to be caught in Afghanistan, the Iron Man era in this world will never begin" Although he looked displeased, old Stank was firm in his conviction that destiny must be allowed to take its course.
