章節 9: Chapter 9 I CHANGED THE PLOT
After a while the team was eating shawarmas in the shop. Eating 2 shawarmas I desided to speak of something important.
"Guys, you heard about Fury's offer and here is my answer I refuse. And I hope you will follow me."
"Refusing to be an Avenger is fine. But why do we have to follow you." Barton asked with a bit confusion narrowing his eyes.
"So are you going to ignore what happened today? The Government we work for decided to end their defender and more 1 millon civilians to save their stupid asses."
"But SHEILD is not the government" said Natasha but I cut her off
"But they work for the government. Should they figure a way to neutralize us then they would not hesitate. I refuse to work for stupid politicians who sit on their chairs giving orders only to think about their gains." I looked around at everyone continuing "Superheroes are not government property. They don't do the stuff they do for any gains. Only for the betterment of the people."
"What Ethan said is right. We were keeping our life on the line defending earth only to know that the ones above us were preparing to kill us." Said Steve witha solemn look.
"But what do we do after we leave SHEILD" Banner asked.
"Why should we be worried. We have a genius Billionaire, a living legend a hope of light, 2 powerful humans that can go against any army, an actual god who has an army of his own and 2 spies should you choose to join. And I don't suggest cutting ties with SHEILD completely. Why not work in collaboration with them, but we get to decide our choices." I explained
"Hmm.. that sounds like a good plan. Count me in" (Steve)
"Me too." "Same." "Me too." (Banner, Thor and Tony)
"What about you both?" Steve asked looking at both Natasha and Barton.
"I guess we will have to say this change to the director first before giving you the answer." Barton said
As we continued to eat peacefully. I proceeded to ask Thor for help. I turned to thor and asked
"Hey Thor, mind if I come to Asgard?"
"Sure friends of mine are always welcome."
"Great then I'll come with you when you leave today."
"Why fo you want to go to Asgard so soon. Got bored of earth?" Tony asked.
"Well I want to fight Thor on Asgard and then to train there for a few months before returning back." I said without any hesitation.
All Avengers were dumbfounded.
A FEW HOURS LATER
"So I heard of the changes from Natasha and Clint" Fury said
"Yes we won't be working with the government that tried to kill us. But we are ready to co-operate with SHEILD for any threats that the earth is facing." Steve said.
"You know that this is a one way right with no comeback. And any problems that are caused by the Avengers will not be governed by SHEILD and you guys will be fully responsible for your actions." Fury said.
"We are ready to take the risk". Steve
"Very well. Have you figured out a base." Fury asked curiously.
"We will stay in Stark Tower for now till we decide to move to a permanent base." Said Steve looking at Stark for confirmation.
And that's how dear kids I made Avengers an independent organisation.
