However, none of it mattered as this was just the start of my plan.
The second part was called "Take Over." Druglords, kingpins, people in influential positions of the underworld, and other such beings would all be replaced by my clones.
At first, I thought about killing them. However, their replacements would be the same, a little better, or even worse.
This phase happened simultaneously with Week One and was known to none. This part was done by the true me while I was in invisible light covered by the abyss.
Every rotten and crooked underworld leader was killed and their bodies stored and replaced. Only the more publicly recognizable corrupt government officials were sent to jail with their secrets made known to the world. However, I did not delve deeply within the governments, just lightly.
In order to perfectly assume roles, though, I had to obtain memories one way or another. Thus, I had to get creative. Before killing them, I would read their mind.
Using a clone, I would make it read every flash of light or, in this case, lightning that has ever been made by the brain.
Then it would organize the information and send it to me before dispersing. After dispersal, no other knowledge but what was necessary would come to me since it was already filtered out.
However, the info is in the light now.
Which means any form of light that has come in contact with my vsiom is stored in the light. A place I can always go search through.
Utilizing this ability I call light reading, I would read their mind while in light space. Light space is simply the space within a light ray.
Thus, while moving inside a light ray, I would drag other people in, light read their mind, kill them, replace them, and do it all over again.
With but a week, nearly the entirety of the Americas' dark upper echelon were secretly killed and replaced.
America (North and South continents) was going to change, and New York City was the starting point. However, at my speed, I could cover the entire world. After all, light moves at 299,792,458 meters per second.
Which means I could circle the Earth seven times in one second. I could possibly take over the entire world in one month of continuous replacing.
However, this is not the Earth I knew before. There are powers, technology, and beings I have to admit are beyond the current me.
Moving at light allows me to easily take over America simply because I am only dealing with ordinary humans and enhanced ones at most.
If I had to pull the Hulk into my light ray, he would simply stay fixed in his position and then squash me.
Well, he would try to squash me, but being able to teleport, along with light-speed reflexes, my omni-view, light biology, and constantly being in the flow of light, I could easily dodge the Hulk and most beings. As well as escape from most confinements or even dimensions.
However, why America and what was the point of all this?
You see, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or any Marvel universe really, one must wield power of the utmost magnitude to be revered as a god among mortals.
It is this image of invincibility and omnipotence that I'm currently establishing.
Just take a look at celebrities. Their fame comes from simply being loved, respected, and admired by many. Their power comes from the influence over many.
Creating an acceptable image of a GOD who can protect and judge fairly is the key to capturing the hearts and minds of the populace.
My grand ambition? Nothing short of reshaping the very fabric of society, eradicating crime from the streets, and ushering in an era of unparalleled peace and prosperity. Not necessarily for humanity though.
To achieve this lofty goal, I have chosen America (North and South) as my example. Around the world, people will look towards Americas as a place of hope for what they could have one day.
But make no mistake, my ambitions transcend mere humanitarian concerns. My vision is one of order, of control, where I reign supreme as the architect of a new world order.
What caused this vision? Desire.
I want to enjoy life on Earth, and I want to enjoy life in my piece of the omniverse.
More importantly, I want to go on vacation and not worry about the resort collapsing, the island I'm at collapsing, a country collapsing, the world collapsing, or half the populace in the universe collapsing.
