Having a drink with Weasel was enjoyable but in the end it couldn't do much for him. As a Supe his body basically became immune to most negative effects and that even included alcohol, meaning he will never experience a buzz again. Bummer but it is what it is.
Michael was no alcoholic and actually didn't care that much about it but the subject was what interested him. "I wonder if Asgardian liquor would do the trick? It can affect gods so it has to at least do something" Michael pondered this as he stopped in front of a danged-up garage. Giving it a good look he shelved his earlier thoughts for now.
Reaching out Michael knocked on it waiting for a reply but none came leaving him unsure if anyone was inside. However, checking once with his X-ray vision Michael saw that there were two people.
One man was bald with a standoffish look. Thinking of Weasel's description this was clearly Melvin, the exact man he was looking for but it seemed like he was also accompanied by another guy dressed in all black with a black hood that covered his eyes. This was obviously weird as people don't usually cover their eyes but this man acted as if it didn't bother him at all. In fact, the man even faced the garage door as if he could see him behind it.
'Wait wearing an eye covering in Hell's Kitchen and here at Melvins shop… doesn't this mean that he's Matt Murdock?' Michael wasn't completely sure but the chances of him being right were pretty high.
'Looks like I don't need to wait long to find out' Following this thought the garage doors suddenly began to life revealing a messy yet organized workshop. Along with the two individuals Michael had observed previously.
"Can I help you?" Melvin asked with a questioning tone while stepping in front as if to protect his tools.
"Hopefully, I came looking for Melvin Potters. I heard he made the best suits in Hell's Kitchen."
"Sorry can't, I don't make anything anymore, please leave" Melvin requested in a sort of rushed voice. At the same time, he went and tried to move Michael but made a surprised face when he saw he couldn't even make him move an inch. Melvin might not have been a superhuman but he was by no means weak.
"Hear me out I promise I won't take long" Michael calmly replied before heading in.

Matt Murdock was just your everyday Lawyer. At Least this is what he preferred others to believe. In reality, he was a highly trained blind man who beat on criminals all night long.
However, he was still that 'A man', and as such he was mortal. Taking injuries was a real risk and it was one he constantly carried to the next day. This was beginning to become an even larger problem with how chaotic Hell's Kitchen had become but he couldn't give up despite how tired his body was.
This was also around the same time he heard about Melvin's workshop. Apparently, the man was the best when it came to making protective clothing and had even done business for many others. So with that knowledge, he intended on getting something made but he didn't anticipate for him to be closed down.
However, Matt was a lawyer and a great negotiator so he was confident in getting Melvin to agree but his talks were interrupted when he heard something terrifying… It sounded like drums and tight coils adjusting and moving like a well-built machine. Except this wasn't from a machine but a man, if you could even call him that.
Facing the garage door he honed his senses in on the new arrival and couldn't fathom what he was hearing. The drums were from his heartbeat and the sound of coils was just the light movements he made. Besides that, his instincts also told him one thing.
Dangerous
Extremely dangerous, more so than anyone he had ever encountered. God, was this even a man? Looking to the side he noticed that he had unconsciously stopped Melvin from opening the door and let him go. He knew that if this man wanted to get in then he could. There was no way they could stop it from happening.
No longer being held back Melvin left and began talking to the guy while Matt himself remained prepared not too far away. He may not stand much of a chance but he wouldn't just be a bystander. Though it seemed like he was mostly peaceful even if he walked in without being welcome.
'At Least he didn't attack Melvin so he shouldn't be here for trouble' Matt thought while hoping for the best

"No no no to both of you I don't make suits anymore!" Melvin shouted. This was overwhelming for him; he didn't like being forced to make suits and he hated dealing with more than one person even more.
Michael watched this with a slightly troubled expression. This looked like it would be challenging. In no way did he want to force someone to make something for him. Doing so would obviously create a half-baked product with possible flaws and he didn't want that.
Looking to the side he saw Matt with the same expression and figured that he probably shared the same thoughts and worries.
"Is there something you need help with?" Matt asked, hoping to possibly use this as a way to get a suit.
"Yes for you to leave"
"…"
'Think Michael think there has to be something… how did Matt get his suit last time?' Looking back on the show he tried reviewing what he could and that's when he had it. Wasn't there a girl he cared about?
The moment he recalled that Michael felt an idea come in. He didn't plan on threatening her in any way but he did remember that Melvin had a fear of Kingpin. The guy forced him to make things for him using that girl as a threat but with him gone wouldn't he want to reward the one responsible?
'What was her name though? It started with a B like Betty or something. Ah, I got it!'
"Melvin, how is Betsy? Is she safe" Crap that might have been a bad way to start this conversation… In his old world and his new one Michael had a problem with antagonizing others without meaning to and meaning too. Unfortunately, this time was one of the ones where he didn't mean to.
"You! Don't you dare threaten her" In the heat of anger Melvin moved fast, taking a tire iron in hand, and swung hard on Michael. He could have easily dodged but he didn't. Honestly, he admitted that he deserved this hit and took it.
CLANG
With a loud metallic ring, Melvin and Matt stared wide-eyed at Michael who stood still unfazed by the attack. However, this sentiment wasn't shared with the now-bent tire iron.
"Sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound like a threat. I was genuinely asking because I had heard the Kingpin was threatening you using her" Michael said in an apologetic tone.
"That's true… and she's alright." Melvin said in response, unsure of what to think. On one hand, it seemed like this guy was threatening him but on the other was his bent tire iron…
"Kingpin…" Matt whispered this was a complicated expression. He had been trying to get leads on him but his efforts were cut short with his death. He should have been happy about this but he couldn't. He truly believed in the system and wanted the kingpin to serve his time.
"That's good, Kingpin was really becoming a problem for a lot of people. It's a good thing I killed him when I did."
"…"
"…"
Matt and Melvin froze at that confession. They had expected this meeting to go many ways but this was one direction neither of them ever imagined.
"You killed him? You're not lying right?" Melvin asked hardly believing it but when he thought back to the tire iron it suddenly became possible. Any man who could take that without flinching must stand a chance.
"No, he's telling the truth. His heartbeat has been steady this entire conversation" Matt said while facing Michael unsure of what to do. He clearly heard him admit to murder and should arrest him but at the same time, he took out a clearly dangerous individual. Not to mention he doubted if he could even accomplish it.
"Also if you need proof I have some items that I took from Kingpin himself"
Melvin, hearing this, visibly calmed down and actually looked sort of happy. "You wanted a suit right? I'll make it" Matt turned quickly to Melvin stunned by his quick agreement.
Michael noticed this and remembered Jim's words back then. "Help out the next person you see"
'Well helping Matt now is like helping thousands of people right? I bet Jim would really approve of that' Feeling that his logic made sense made Michael smile in confidence.
"Great but do you think you can also make one for my friend here." Michael said while gesturing to Matt who looked back at him as if wondering what he was planning. But there was no hidden agenda or manipulation.
Michael acknowledged Daredevil and knew he was ultimately needed for Hell's Kitchen especially because he was the one who caused the chaos. The least he could do was help gear up the guy cleaning his mess.
"I can do that but I'll make your first"
"Great!" Reaching into his coat Michael pulled out a small notebook that had a couple of designs he had made. Flipping through the pages he found the one he was looking for and pulled it out before handing it over.
"Umm this doesn't look very convenient and it's too flashy. Also why the cape? What if it gets caught on something" Melvin as a designer had his own two cents and made his opinions known.
"Ugh, it looks cool?"
Melvin wasn't really impressed by that response but agreed anyway. After this, he asked the same from Matt and learned what he needed for the suits. Melvin began working with some excitement which was surprising for a guy who didn't want to make a suit previously. Heck, he had even kicked them out because he wanted peace and quiet while he got down to it.
Not needing to stay longer Michael turned and prepared to leave.
"Wait… Why did you help me?" Matt asked. They knew nothing about one another and hadn't even talked when in the workshop. So getting help from a stranger felt odd and Matt figured there had to be a reason.
"Because you're a good man and you'll keep Hell's Kitchen safe" A simple reply but it's all Michael gave him before flying away.
Matt ignored the obvious mind-breaking feat of flight as he turned around. "A good man…" Walking his own way Matt continued to think about those words and about Michael. He still thought he was wrong for killing Kingpin but he wasn't a criminal.
