90.02% Married To A Heartless Billoniare / Chapter 307: Chapter 308 ILLNESS 2

章節 307: Chapter 308 ILLNESS 2

After our massage and manicure sections, we all stepped out of the salon to a restaurant for dinner. "I woke up this morning to see this diamond bracelet on my wrist, my husband is such a sweet soul." Mrs. Dior said with a smile. She's been bragging since the salon and it was getting irritating. "That is nice my dear, how many pieces of diamonds does it possess?" Mother asked being so petty herself.

"Oh I really don't know, I'm more of a pearl person." "Pearls are so old-fashioned and are for mere millionaires, it screams locality, my dear." Mother smiled being petty, they're both meant to get along, especially with Mrs. Dior being a part of the family now. "Welcome to Greek Stories may I have your reservation please." The waiter welcomed us in, "We're about to make one now." I stated as I walked to the counter with the kids. I forgot I haven't returned Alex's card since he gave it to me, and I think he forgot too. I used his card to pay for our dinner and table before joining the rest.

It wasn't long for our tables to be set and we all went to sit on them, the menu was given to everyone and we all ordered our food. The kids finished their dishes in no time even waiting for more, I had to other another dish for them. Junior was the most excited person among them maintaining his good table antiques so as his siblings.

"How about we go out sightseeing tomorrow." Mrs. Dior suggested with a smile, I thought she was irritated by Greece, but now all of a sudden she feels like touring around? I smiled at my thoughts. "We'd do that after the wedding dear, Avery's attending some wedding practices tomorrow for her day." Mother said.

"Oh that's so sweet, I remember my wedding week, I had a lot of fun traveling around still single cause once you're married you wouldn't be able to do those things anymore. Especially when you start birthing children, I'm I wrong Hazel?" Mrs. Dior asked. "No that's right, you'd have lesser time for yourself especially if they're all so cute and irresistible," I added.

"I'm sure everyone except my dear daughter-in-law has experienced this too, right Nessa?" She inquired. "Yes, only that I had no chance to experience it more cause of some health issues. I've never even had the chance to travel around, good girl, big dreams got shattered before achieving any." Mother smiled. She's barely said a word since she got here. Appearing to be almost invisible, I adored her classy demeanor.

"Now I think of it, isn't that genetic? Your illness?" Mrs. Dior asked. Her words brought a lot of memories I've tried to forget, they made me remember a lot of things. Who knew I'd be smiling back to those memories like they never even existed. "It is, but neither Hazel nor the kids have shown any sign yet so it's good

"You know I met David while in college, he's one of my many crushes but never agreed to go on a date. It's a good thing we're still friends to date." Mrs. Dior said proudly. "I wish the  same could be said about me and my husband." Mother spoke out. "Why's that Maria?"

"I and Oliver's marraige has always been arranged cause of how rebellious he was back then. His father thought once he was married, he would calm a bit and act like a man for once." She said. "And it did work out, I mean look at you?"

Mother met my gaze with a smile, "It wasn't always like this, we both hated each other with Passion. Oliver would go out and not return for like a month, he was toxic and saw women as nothing but sex toys." "So how did all of that change?" Avery asked seeming really interested.

"When I had you, my dear, you changed everything. He said he realized he had a lot to lose if he continued with his life, he didn't change automatically, but he was better than before. When I found out he was into illegal things, I hated him and wanted to leave."

"We never signed a  prenuptial agreement so it was easy to leave and take half of his properties, but I couldn't. I loved him then and couldn't leave but on a promise that he would keep my children away from that life. He did agree." She said taking a sip of her drink. Mother then went on to say, "Marraige at times is hard, but endurance and understanding can keep you going." I felt like she was talking to me, and for some reason, I felt like our marriage was similar.

"Alex is not the best man in the world, but has been so good to I and the kids, he's just like his father. We all left the restaurant after dinner to the Villa's set for each member of the family in a large estate.

I and the kids arrived at the villa and they all rushed in to check the place out, screaming and giggling. "Papa." The kids called the man sitted lazily on the couch with both legs on the table and his favorite wine and glass placed on a side stool. "I missed you all so much, the past hours have been hell." He sat up and hugged them all, "Tell me where you all went out to?" He asked immediately.

"A salon and a restaurant," Kyle responded. "Hmm, and you made sure no boys were found around my wives?" He asked. "Yes, papa," Junior responded this time. "Good boys." How much more petty and overly protective can this man be?

"Sweetheart." He met my gaze walking up to me, my eyes caught the bandages on his fingers and knuckles when he brushed my cheeks with his thumb. Quickly catching his hands, "What happened to your hands, Alex?" I asked staring at the bands.

"I leave you for a few hours and you're already hurt, maybe I should carry you around like a baby." He smiled. "I'm sorry, I got into a fight with Kendrick, I had to show him what my fist is made up of." He placed both hands on my shoulders. "You fought with your uncle?" My words came as a whisper cause of the children who have taken their position on the couch ready to learn from their immature mummy and daddy. "I'm sorry." He quickly apologized. "You should be kissing my hands not scolding me, I'm your love," I said nothing else to Alex, as the rest would be said in the room later on.

We headed back into the room after placing the kids to bed, we were far away from home so it's only natural we bathe them. "Why didn't you say grandma was sick, I would have visited her before leaving the mansion earlier," I said to the man walking out of the wine cellar with a bottle of champagne and two glasses in his hands. "And then your trip destroyed cause of that, no way. She'd get better in no time." He said pouring the wine into the glasses as he handed it over to me.

"Why? What are we celebrating?" "I don't know, every day is a celebration for me, especially with you and the kids around." He said taking a sip from his glass and I took mine. We both sat on the couch staring at a space in the room, admiring each deco. I didn't find the drink or any of his actions suspicious till I felt some kind of way. I stared at my glass and then met his gaze,

        "I'm sorry Hazel." He said.
