章節 35: An idea
Arabella really felt so confused when her good intentions didn't get a positive response, so she chose to land on the chair again when she heard the middle-aged woman scream.
"Minah!" Naylasari shouted with a sour face because she was annoyed with Arabella. She thought that the woman seemed to humiliate her in front of the ideal daughter-in-law.
Not long after, a woman who was over 60 years old walked into the dining room and was very familiar with the high-pitched voice of her employer, indicating that she was angry. She hastily nodded her head and bowed respectfully to everyone before asking.
"Yes, madam."
Not wanting to waste time and hoping to resuscitate Siri's wife from her son, now Naylasari has given the code by waving her hand.
"Clean up everything because we have finished breakfast. Arabella was intending to clean up all this. Don't let you allow it if she is determined to help with the housework because there are many servants here. After all she is a guest to be honored, not a maid. Remember that fine!"
Of course the maidservant who had worked in the Abraham family for a long time now nodded her head and looked at the woman she didn't know who she was because she came late last night and had not been introduced to the maids. She also gave a faint smile at the woman who would be living in the Mansion from today onwards.
"Very well, madam. I understand." Cleaning up dirty dishes which were used by the employers and assisted by other servants.
Meanwhile, Leonard who felt very sick of being in the same room with Arabella, now got up from his chair and looked at the figure of the woman he loved so much.
"Come on, let's go ahead. We haven't had a casual chat in a long time, honey."
Ayumi, who was following Leonard's movements, intended to answer, but couldn't because she saw the middle-aged woman in front of her give an order.
"You'd better go take a bath there! Don't you need a wedding ring when you get married? Let mother talk to Ayumi. Go take a shower!" Naylasari is now acting covering her nose when she gets up from the chair. "Come on, Ayumi. We can discuss your marriage in the living room.
"Yes, Auntie," said Ayumi, who was now embracing Arabella's shoulder. "Come on, let's talk in front. Let you know later, what is needed for wedding preparations. Who knows later you will also get married after finding your prince." She winked and gave a small smile.
Then patted Leonard's strong arm and started walking towards the figure of the man next to her. "Go take a shower, it smells all the way here."
Leonard, who confirmed the words of his mother and also Ayumi, now remembered something. "Gosh, you haven't showered yet? You said you were jogging around here, right? You're still wearing something like this. You'd better take a shower and then we'll head off to the jewelery shop and boutique to order a wedding dress."
Ayumi's reflex felt very embarrassed because it was like revealing her own disgrace. She just chuckled in response to the taunts from her friend. "You're right too. I think I'll take a shower in Arabella's room and borrow her clothes."
Ayumi, who is now turning to look at the female figure on her left, now wants to ask for permission. "I can borrow your clothes, can't I Arabella?"
Arabella reflex stood up from her position and nodded her head. There was a hint of relief on her face at not having to chat with Leonard's parents. She really felt very claustrophobic in front of rich people who were so different from her.
She realized that only poor people had no parents and were not on the same level as the family. "Of course you can. Come on, come with me to the room." Turning to stare at Leonard's parents. "We're going upstairs first, Auntie."
"Okay. Give Ayumi the best clothes." Still acting very sweet to the woman he really hates, Naylasari smiled at Ayumi who was also looking at her. "You can come with Arabella, Ayumi."
"Ready, Auntie." Then waved at Leonard who seemed still reluctant to walk out of the dining room. Meanwhile she and Arabella were already walking towards the second floor.
Still staring at the silhouettes of the two women who had just disappeared behind the door, now Leonard turned to look at his mother when he received a threat.
"Just watch out if that woman embarrass our family while working as a waitress," said Naylasari, which made her feel very annoyed when she remembered Arabella's bold request, which she didn't consider at all.
Likewise with the man who is none other than Rizal Abraham. He gave a similar threat because he didn't want a well-thought-out plan to fall apart just because women weren't important.
"You must be able to awaken that woman, Leonard. Don't let your marriage fail just because of that poor woman. My father is very sure that you will be the main heir to the Ayumi family company. There is no way Ayumi will lead the company because she is only a woman experienced."
Leonard is currently silent in response to the words of his father because in fact he never at all thought he would control the Ayumi family company. He wants to marry Ayumi because he really loves the woman he has loved since childhood.
However, he was too cowardly for not daring to express his love. That's because he doesn't want their friendship to end if the woman turns out to only think of him as a friend. Until when Ayumi said she wanted to marry him, Leonard immediately agreed without thinking.
"I love Ayumi, Father. Not because I want her family's wealth. I will work and develop our company. For Ayumi's sake, I will make her happy and won't let her live in pain because Ayumi is used to living well since she was little."
Rizal Abraham just shook his head at the innocent attitude of his son who glorified love. She wants to make her son realize how to live realistically and not just rely on love.
"Love is not always beautiful, Leonard. You need a stepping stone to make Ayumi happy."
"If you only rely on our company which almost went bankrupt, your life will not develop later. So, you must be good at taking advantage of opportunities and influencing Ayumi later after becoming your wife. Make Ayumi believe that you will be a responsible leader and a good husband."
Leonard who could understand orders from his father, now began to think and realized that everything that was said was indeed true.
"It seems Father is right. It's like the saying 'One paddle, two or three islands exceeded'," said Leonard, who now smirked when he got an idea in his head.
