~ January 1990 ~

In a rural area of Smallville, a city in the state of Kansas, a truck with a couple was talking. They were Jonathan and Martha Kent. They were talking about the future, about how to raise a family and maybe adopt a child, since Martha was unable to conceive of her own and the conversation continued until they heard one as if a rocket went over their heads.

Jhonatan braked the car and stuck his head out of the window and saw, what he assumed was a satellite, falling into the plantation to his right.

"Was that a satellite?…" Asked Martha

"I think so, let's take a look" replied her husband. And the two went to what they assumed to be a satellite.

Arriving at the "satellite" they were surprised by what they saw, it was not a satellite, it was a ship, that kind of ship that they saw in films about space and Alien.

Martha approached slowly and unconsciously and touched the metal, something Jonathan, when he saw, pulled his hand away quickly, but at that moment the ship made a noise, something that seemed to have come straight out of a fiction film, and it opened and revealed ... A child wrapped in a red cloth.

The couple, for a minute, was amazed, until Martha, in a quick act, took the baby and walked away from the ship.

"It's a baby, Jonathan, heaven sent us a baby to us," said Martha.

"Martha, you can't be thinking of adopting this child, he's an alien"" replied Jonathan

"Look at him, Jhonatan, he is so beautiful and looks so much like a human" said Martha the moment the baby opened his eyes and looked curiously around, and then fixed his eyes on Martha and smiled.

Martha seeing this could not resist and smiled tbm as she looks at a child "look Jhon, he smiled at me"

when Jhonatan would answer, but when he saw that pure and innocent smile, he fell silent.

He looked around as if looking for something, and he looked at a ship hesitating and, as if thinking and a million things, resolutely he said "okay, let's adopt this child. Let's take the ship and Hide in the Basement of the farm "
