"I don't need your help." I say to Deliah. She looks like she still wants to say something but at that moment, Cat arrives. 

"Did you wait for long? Sorry, I had to…" she already has her arms around me by the time she notices Deliah standing in front of me. "Deliah? I thought you had left." 

Deliah shoots her an annoyed look and mutters, "of course you did." She ignroes Cat and says, "Guillermo, my offer will not be valid for too long. Think about it." 

She walks a few steps away and turns back to say, "Don't stay away from home for too long, Catalina. Your dad worries about you a lot. You should spend a lot of time with him and your siblings." 

This time, she saunters away in her high heels without turning back. 

Cat is fuming by the time I open the passenger door for her. "Does she think she is my mother? What gives her the right to talk to me like that? Ugh, no wonder Charlotte and Asher hate her."
