Chi Xiaoyu wore a white polka-dotted long T-shirt with jeans below, and her hair was tied in a loose bun, with a stray strand hanging beside her ear. Her fair little face, and her eyes were like curved crescent moons shimmering with water.
She seemed a bit bewildered by his question and took a while before saying, "It's an heirloom left by my mother."
"An heirloom?" His dark eyes were profound, and clearly, that wasn't the answer he was looking for.
"Yep!" She replied succinctly.
"Good!"
He answered absently, laid the jade pendant flat again, and let go of it.

While Chi Xiaoyu was brushing her teeth, Butler Shi knocked on the door. After entering, he directed several bodyguards to move all the women's clothing out of the wardrobe...
She wiped her mouth with a towel and walked out.
Watching the bodyguards stuff the clothes into black trash bags and throw them outside, where the apartment's janitors were cleaning up.
