Gradually, my eyes opened and I scanned the battlefield skeptically.

My green dress was covered with blood from some wolves and vampires I had killed.

Beside me lay three dead wolves.

I still couldn't recall how the battle played out and how I ended up fainting in the process.

But the entire battlefield was covered with blood and dead human beings.

"Wh…. Where is he? Where is Denver?" I stammered while trying to stand but it was inevitable thus I crawled for a bit.

"Denver!" I called out his name but got no response.

My wolf was too weak to trace him through scent. He told me to stick with him and all through the battle time, I was fighting beside him until everything happened so fast.

Why did it look like I was the only one alive in the battlefield and my voice echoed up to a distance.
