Cecilia's POV

"Denver!!" My voice echoed in the gathering hall as I marched to the center of the hall.

I rushed down here as soon as Anna shared the news with me.

Denver's guards had forcefully dragged Harris to the prison for no reason, it was announced that he would be executed on an auspicious day.

"Cecilia, the last time I remember, you are not allowed in this hall." He reminded me curtly.

"A frog doesn't run in the daytime for nothing." I scoffed, crossing my arms.

"What do you want? I thought you were dying? But it seems you still have the strength to run down here for something flimsy." He commented as a hitch of jealousy lingered in his voice.

"Flimsy?" I scoffed, shaking my head.

"Harris is not flimsy. He is very important to me." I walked closer to him almost close to the short stairs while he looked stunned in his throne.

"Why did you send Harris to prison?" I questioned him coldly.
