Cecilia's POV

I turned to the sound of hands clapping against each other. My breath seized in my throat as I looked to see who had been watching me. It was just Anna. 

"Anna?! You startled me." I scolded with furrowed brows. 

I had been scared to my bones at the thought of an unknown person watching me. My bones had literally quivered. 

Anna burst out in laughter at my scared, frail figure while I sat back on the bench to support my knees that had gone weak in fear. 

"Why were so scared? It was just me." She moved closer to me on the bench and asked, but I said nothing. 

I only kept mute and stared into thin air. 

"Did you think any could come for you here? With the able bodied guards that Alpha Denver has filled your chambers with?"

She sat beside on the bench, still teasing. But I was not having it, I was still too shocked to talk.
