章節 22: Too much
"Aunt Calla," I answered him with a small smile. He walked towards me and laid down on the bed. We were facing each other. He used his right arm as a pillow.
"Pizza for dinner, huh?" Bram said. His eyes were smiling as he smirked at me.
"Oh, I'm sorry," I said, as I played along with him, "I forgot you're on a strict diet, no pizza for you then?" I even raised my right eyebrow for emphasis.
It brought out a small laugh from Bram. And I laughed with him. Then we stared at each other for a moment. His blue eyes were like penetrating my inner thoughts. Then he closed them and he was snoring in seconds. Bram could have won a lot of sleeping contests because of how quick he could fall asleep. I covered my mouth and yawned then I heard a knock on the door.
I slowly got up and opened it. It was Maria, she told me that the pizza had arrived already. I wore my slippers and got out of the room with my phone in my hand. I closed the door lightly so Bram would not wake up. Maria already prepared the table for two people. I got a slice of the one that has cheese and spinach, put it on my plate and started eating.
Chantal was standing by the door and Maria was standing on my right. We all turned our heads when the master bedroom door opened. Bram walked out with his disheveled hair.
"Sorry, I fell asleep," Bram said as he sat in front of me.
"It's fine, come on, let's eat!" I told him as I put a small portion of pizza in my mouth using my fork.
After dinner Bram and I were in his living room. I was working on my laptop and he was watching the replay of the previous race that was held in Imola, Italy. I was chatting with one of my friends and she asked how I was doing. She was also a private nurse. None of my friends knew that I got married.
I was thinking of what I could do while I was doing my part of the contract. Could I still work as a nurse? I would love to discuss this with Bram later before we go to sleep. Bram startled me when he yelled on the screen. He was probably frustrated from what he was watching. I closed my laptop and picked up my phone then went inside our bedroom.
I was brushing my teeth when Bram popped his head on the bathroom door, "You, okay?" He asked me.
I nodded in response because my mouth was full of toothpaste. I washed my face then wore my pajamas and laid down on the left side of the bed. I checked my phone calendar and tomorrow would be Thursday then Friday would be Bram's induction. I hoped everything would go smoothly. I set my alarm thirty minutes past seven then I closed my eyes to sleep.
I woke up because Bram was kissing my neck and kneading both my breasts. He probably felt that I was awake so he kissed my lips. I responded to him then he went down to my neck again. I bit my lower lip and remembered what I was supposed to ask him.
"Bram, can I work as a nurse…" I was not able to finish because Bram stopped kissing my neck. His nose touched my right cheek.
"No," Bram whispered.
"Why not?" I asked. I turned my face slightly towards him.
"Because I don't want you to," he answered and then he sucked my right breast.
He removed all my clothing and I heard him unzip his pants too. He covered me with his body and kissed me full in the mouth. Then I felt him slowly enter me. A moan escaped my lip and this brought Bram to a frenzy. He started coming in and out on me.
I hugged Bram and tried hard not to make a sound. Because our butler and my bodyguard were just in the other room. I placed my lips on the right side of Bram's neck so no noise could come out of me. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he became faster and faster and then we both let go. Bram hid his moan on the pillow.
We were both chasing our breath then Bram whispered to my right ear, "You're driving me insane."
"I didn't mean to," I whispered back, "I was just thinking that maybe I could do something productive."
"Well, I am working hard enough for both of us so you don't need to work," Bram whispered to me. His nose was touching mine.
"Bram, I just…" I was not able to finish because he cut me off by slightly biting my lower lip.
"End of discussion." He gave my lips a smack then he slowly got out of me.
He covered us both with blankets then he pulled me closer towards his body. We were both lying on our backs. The room was so quiet. Bram was probably drifting to sleep but I was not. I was thinking of ways so I could convince him to let me work as a nurse. Then I heard him call my name in the dark.
"Yes?" I answered him.
"I think I'm in love with you," I heard Bram say.
"What?" was my quick response.
Bram did not answer me. Instead, I heard his light snore. I was still processing what just happened and if he really did say what he just said to me. I placed my right cheek on the side of his left upper arm then I put my left arm on his tummy. I sighed, there was no way that I would ask him about this tomorrow. That would be too much. I kissed the side of his upper arm where my right cheek was then I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep too.
