章節 2: Send Me Home
According to the rough detail she could get from observing her surroundings, she already knew that this must be Rose City. She wondered why she was here since the city was actually very far from her home. But this was not out of her expectations.
She had been praised for her beauty and wits since childhood. She was even the top performer in her studies from the previous university she previuosly attended. When she had already finished studying, everyone expected her to work with a very high paying job, but that did not happen. She instead she chose to be an assistant of a police officer named Captain Scarlet.
Everyone thought that she was just wasting her talent by being just an errand girl. And when she was asked why, she would just reply that she had no obligation of granting their wishes, this was the life she wanted so she would continue pursuing it.
But despite how hard she tried to make her life as simple as it can get, her identity was something about her which cannot be altered.
On her first day as a living person, her mother died of childbirth, which made her decide that she would never have even a single child her whole life.
At 3 her father was killed in front of her and at 5 she witnessed her nanny committing suicide. Such incidents made her afraid of strangers which further develop her aloof personality.
At 8 she almost died from a stampede and was also kidnapped, it caused her to be afraid of being with a large cluster of people.
At 12 she was almost raped by her paternal uncle, that's what caused her to be androphobic, fearing all men she would encounter with the exception of only her grandpa, the one she trusts the most, and gays whom she also treats as females.
At 15 she never had even a single day of living in peace because of bullies. So at 18 she transfered schools which was also the time when she got home seeing their house burned down to ashes, leaving her grandpa in a state of coma, only to wake up three years later and claiming the lives of the rest of their family members.
As a rich young heiress the number of life and death situation she faced were numerous. So when she woke up in a hospital, she already knew that she must be involved in some accident manipulated by some of their enemies. But with all her prevention measures, it was impossible for others to know her real identity except if there was a mole from their side, that would be troublesome.
As she walking in an absent-minded state, it escaped her notice that she was already in front of the police station. She got inside, and bumped into a female wearing a uniform. So she stopped herself from being in a daze. She observed the lady in uniform and knew that she's a police officer.
"Oh! Hi there young lady. Is there anything I can help you with? I'm Lisa Lauren by the way." the police officer smiled offering her hand for a handshake.
She shaked hands with her and said "I'm Lily, Lily Scott. If you don't mind, can you send me home?"
