章節 55: A Nightmare?

The room was so quiet, the only sound was the sound of the fire crackling the wood and the occasional loud clunk when Arielle accidentally scooped the soup deeper until her spoon accidentally met the bowl.

The girl did not lift her face at all because she was so nervous to be watched so closely by the king.

Arielle and Ronan had previously shared long gazes many times before. It was just that since the day that the kiss happened in addition to two days of not seeing each other, it made Arielle very awkward around him. 

Especially when they met earlier, Ronan kissed her again so suddenly as if it was something normal.

Ronan was also very casual. Or maybe Arielle was overthinking this too much?

"What about you? Have you eaten? " asked Arielle after she chewed down on the little pumpkin pieces that were so sweet.

"Just seeing you is enough for me."

"Do not be like that. Would you like me to prepare lunch for you, Your Majesty?"
