Xi Yemo's domineering manner made the woman uncomfortable, and with a soft hum, she gently pushed against his shoulders.
The man confined her hands within his own and lessened the intensity of his kiss.

Lan Xin Ai slightly shifted her body.
After a while, Xi Yemo crawled into the quilt, wrapped the woman in his arms—it was his first time sleeping with a woman this way. It felt so comfortable, warm, and intoxicating.
As soon as he closed his eyes, a wave of drowsiness swept over him, a major exception to his habitual insomnia.
It was her presence that made him feel so at ease.
Not long after, the breathing of the two people in the room became steady.
The bedroom was unusually warm and quiet.
In the early morning, a ray of sunlight streamed directly into the room, like a gleaming golden thread.
Lan Xin Ai opened her hazy eyes and her right hand touched something soft.

Lan Xin Ai slapped the beautiful man in front of her across the face: "Who are you?"
Xi Yemo squinted his eyes and hoarsely murmured: "Take a good look at where you are."
The man's words shocked Lan Xin Ai, she quickly looked around the room.
The large French windows, the exquisite and luxurious decor, all pointed to her host's powerful status.
Where is she?
Why is she here?
"Where am I, how did I get here?"
"My home." Xi Yemo lifted his elegant chin, regally and imposingly.
"Your home!"
Lan Xin Ai looked at the handsome man in front of her, completely stupefied, she had no idea what was happening.
"If it helps, I don't mind reminding you of what happened yesterday."
Xi Yemo leaned over, a secretive look flashed through his beautiful pupils.
At his words, Lan Xin Ai paused, scene after scene flowed through her mind like a movie, echoes of a woman's weeping haunting her: "We truly love each other, please, let me be with Yun Ze, I'm pregnant with his child, our baby can't be without a father."
The man she had been dating for three years betrayed her on their wedding day, he'd even fathered a child with another woman. This devastating blow left Lan Xin Ai pale, too disheartened to question Xi Yemo.
Xi Yemo merely watched her silently, watching her hold back the tears that threatened to spill over, not uttering a word to interrupt her thoughts.
After a while, Lan Xin Ai regained her composure. She looked at her body under the quilt, not clad in the wedding dress from last night, but in a set of sleepwear. Her face noticeably paled: "What did you do to me? And why am I at your home?"
Seeing her panicked expression, Xi Yemo grinned mischievously: "Last night, it was exquisite."
"You, I'm going to report you…."
Being betrayed on her wedding day was already the most tragic thing, but to be deflowered by another man on the same day was too much for Lan Xin Ai to handle.
Why is she so unlucky!
