As she entered, Valentina could feel quite a few eyes on her. Most let their attention wander fairly fast, but some lingered on her. Those that lingered however were primarily those from her own table, with Dahlia almost staring daggers into the vampiress.
"You sure did take your time. I knew you would take a little while because you didn't want to be obvious, but really? An hour? You didn't even send me a signal to let me know things were fine…"
At first the Archduchess was on her guard, thinking she had genuinely angered the girl, but upon closer inspection her cute pout clearly showed she wasn't taking things too seriously. Seeing that, Valentina just ruffled her hair and pulled her in close before getting back to enjoying the food in front of them. Dinner had been interrupted rather early for her after all.
Next chapter it a lemon! It will probably be on the more intese side of things too, so this is your warning!
Their relationship might have started in a bit of an unhealthy way anyway, but so far I've kept things fairly simple and they remained healthy, though a bit co-dependent. Going forward though, I would like to slowly make them progressively more obsessive and possessive of eachother. I just really like romances that are a bit on the intense side.
