Ichor couldn't bear to witness the scene any longer. 'Look at that human! He's up to no good!' he exclaimed in her mind.

'You are a mighty dragon! There is no need to humble yourself before a weak human!' the vampire directly spoke in her mind space. He wished to crack open her skull and see what was there.

Her current behaviour was akin to killing ants and then feeling remorseful or trampling grass and then experiencing heartache. Who acts like that? Apparently, she was a rare breed.
