章節 20: Chapter 20:New Work and a posible formula.
On the morning of Thursday, June 8th Adryan woke up again and getting ready he went to Bravehearts Bar to spend the morning until 1:00 p.m, after spending his morning watching the drunks, Adryan left the bar and went to the Hunter's club.
Arriving at the club, as always he saw Robert reading Stormwind Mountain Villa...
Already ignoring that, Adryan went to the basement and could see how Mr. Grievius was smoking a cigarette while reading the newspaper in the headline he could read the following.
'Another 5 people die from strange murders, the authorities say they have everything under control...'-with a heavy heart and knowing that time was running out, Adryan headed towards Mr. Grievius.
"Look who came I was thinking-" before he could continue with his classic insult Adryan interrupted him.
"Mr. Grievius, how much do you want for the 'provoker' formula?"
This caused Mr. Grievius to sigh in defeat and place the newspaper next to him.
"I was thinking you'd never ask me brat after that move you made when we first met one would think you were already one"
"I'm sorry about that Mr. Grievius but please tell me the price of the formula"
"550 pounds and it's yours brat"
"That's a lot my limit is 420 pounds"
"Well, what a shame, the most I can lower it is 480 pounds"
"430 pounds"
"460 pounds and that's the limit"
"Deal." Adryan quickly took out the money and handed it over.
Grievius tore off a part of the newspaper and wrote the formula on it.
Then he handed it over to Adryan and continued to smoke with his cigar.
Adryan then read the formula...
Potion Formula Sequence 8: Provoker
Main ingredients:
* A horned toad's tongue
* The lungs of a provocative rooster.
Complementary Ingredients:
*80 milliliters of pure water.
*5 drops of liquor.
*7 grams of powdered iron.
*12 feathers of the provocative rooster.
*6 drops of horned toad venom.
After reading the formula, Adrian kept it in his vest before turning to look at Grievius.
"Do you want to keep practicing shooting or are you going to try and find the ingredients?"
"I'll continue practicing if you don't mind"
Taking a deep drag on the cigarette, Grievius rose from his chair.
"Then show me if you improved and you better hit the target 32 times."
Nodding, Adryan familiarly took out his revolver and aimed at the target.
After 2 hours of class, Adryan was very proud of himself.
After digesting the potion he could now hit the 25-meter target 34 out of 40 times.
Grievius had him increase the distance to 40 meters and he managed to make 27 of 40 shots which is pretty decent if you ask him.
Leaving the shooting range and saying goodbye to Robert Adryan, he bought a newspaper before heading to Bravehearts Bar.
He was reading the whole trip looking for a new party.
It had barely been a day since the last one but it never hurt to check.
But there was nothing, just information about the murders.....
Arriving at Bravehearts bar, Adryan went to the old man.
Maric was with him while he continued to play cards with his zombies.
"Now what do you want brat"
"I need your advice to get a job as a mercenary and I was hoping you could help me"
Raising an eyebrow, the old man replied calmly.
"Brat this is the best place you can get for this kind of thing let me explain how you can start from the bottom"
"First start taking jobs that are done in groups and build your reputation on that and over time you can take on more important assignments."
"Then do you have an order of that kind available, Mr.Old Man?"
When he asked this the old man smiled and took a sheet from behind the bar and handed it to him.
It said:
Request for cargo protection.
8 people with diverse abilities are required.
Reward 50 pounds.
Reading the order, Adryan looked at the old man again.
"What about the other 7 people?"
"They are already ready, they only needed one"
"Well I accept this assignment when we have to go protect the cargo"
Within 2 days Saturday night will be protection, other details of the order will be discussed with your boss when you are there"
"So I'll run into my comrades there?"
"Yes all 7 of them so wait until Saturday and get ready in these 2 days"
"If that's all get out"
Bowing, Adryan said goodbye to the old man and turned to nod to Maric but he ignored him again.
Already accustomed to that, Adryan left and headed home.
Arriving home, Adryan checked that none of the traps he left had been activated, and seeing that everything was in order, he went inside his bedroom and he close the curtains after that he sat in a lotus pose to meditate.
He was finally going to revisit the City of Calamities.
Although the only way to enter that he knew was this, and because he did not dare to try to guess the prayer to enter.... so he quickly began to outline the sphere of light continuously until it was again replaced by the city surrounded by yellowish smoke and soldiers of fire.
When he entered again he reappeared in the same place as last time and the fire soldiers saw him again and they made the same military salute and continued with their patrol allowing Adryan to pass.
Still curious about these fire soldiers, Adryan began to walk around the city that was so similar to his birth city but had very different details.
Whether it was the distribution of the buildings, the streets, or the shops, everything was very different, it only had the aura of home but it was not.....
It was somewhat difficult to explain but a good example would be that it only had the front part of the city, the rest was very different and it felt strange...
The greatest example of that.....
A huge Roman coliseum in the center of the city was surrounded by fire not allowing him to pass....
