'How could they kidnap a girl inside a place with so much security?' Viktor was thinking.

'Okay, the military might have been a little careless with their guard, but still...It's weird, her disappearing without anyone hearing or seeing anything strange.'

He kept calm and tried to think clearly.

But as he kept so calm, he couldn't help but wonder:

"Am I really crazy? How can I keep calm in such a situation?"

He could not feel desperate like his sister. Although he didn't like it when something bad happened to an innocent girl, he didn't feel bad to the point of despairing or crying either.

Throughout his life, every time situations happened where he felt his lack of empathy in some things, at the same time he felt bad about this lack and tried to rationalize it, or tried to look for some kind of empathy in him, to feel more "normal".
