Rainier's POV
A while ago, I and my friends were celebrating my party. I just passed out and this happened.
Everything was just perfect. I am a graduating, Fine Arts student at De Vera University. I already have plans for my life. It was all prepared like a gift, waiting to be opened. I have a good family who doesn't pressure me with my decisions, especially if it's about my dream. I am the only boy and the youngest part of my family. I was not spoiled but all my three elder sisters can't just let me be stressed. They said that they have prayed to have me as their brother. I was also accepted in an entertainment agency in France and all I need is my diploma. After that I can live on my own, chasing my dreams.
But just because of a simple pain in my head a while ago, everything can be changed. All because of a small tumor that I didn't even felt for once in my life, everything seems to be crumbling down to pieces.
"I only have three months. THREE. FREAKING. MONTHS. What the hell??" I screamed in my head.
I was currently going home with our buttler. I don't know how or when can I tell this to my family. I don't know what to do now.
I wanted to cry. I want to scream. I want to burst it all out but I can't still accept it. How did that happen?
My mind was in haze so I did not realize that we are already in my own condo in Manila. I left the car and bid a farewell to our butler before he left. I told him to do not to tell my family what happened to me today. They are all busy and stressed with work, so I want to figure this out myself.
I checked my phone and saw tons of messages from my Summer Solstice friends, a rising band here in the Philippines. I told them that I was tired that's why I passed out.
Still devasted to what I've learned, I pushed myself to go to the fourth floor of the building of my condo. I entered the elevator and tried to look for my key. I was walking towards my unit when I saw a girl, about fifteen years of age, crying in front of my door while knocking on it.
"Rain...Rain...helped me," she said.
I tried to look at her if I know her because my nickname was also Rain. She has a cute face and big eyes like a doll. She was wearing a green, floral dress and white ballet shoes. I intently looked at her face, still standing where I am. But... I really don't know her.
Her face... It's impossible to forget that face. She was just beautiful. I will definitely court her if I know her. She was just like an angel in my eyes.
"Miss, who are you looking for?" I asked her.
She glanced at me and wiped her tears. She was just so cute that I forgot that I have my own problem to solve.
"Rain?" She looked at me and then her wide eyes open.
"Rain!" She smiled sweetly and run towards me... trying to give me a hug? When she was just inches away from me, I closed my eyes. I expected her to bump to me harshly but..nothing happened.
My eyes were still closed. I waited for some more seconds and before I opened them again. She was no longer in front of me! How did that happen Where did she go?
"Rain!" I heard her called my name again. But this time, from my back. I looked behind me and I saw her again, smiling at me.
"What.. How..?" I can't process the situation because of what happened.
"Oh, silly me," she said while biting her lower lip. "Rain, I passed through you. I'm sorry I just got excited so I forgot something."
"You? Passed through me? What are you saying?" I asked her, still bewildered by what happened.
"I can't touch you," she sadly said.
"What?" I asked her confusedly.
"I can't touch you because," she said while looking down before looking at me with that pair of big eyes. "I am a ghost."
"You' re what?" I asked her, still confused.
"I am a ghost!" She screamed.
I closed my eyes because of how loud was that and waited for other tenants to yell at us. But seconds later, nothing happened.
"See? I am a ghost and I need you to help me Rain." She smiled at me after saying that.
A while ago, I was battling with the tumor. Now, a ghost? A ghost asking for my help?
What a day!
She was looking closely at me. Trying to get a yes from me but instead, I gave her a question.
"Who are you?"
