章節 18: The Breach

It has been two years since Shockwave had stolen a Jaeger from the humans. He had completely broken down the Jaeger by the first year and studied it. He then replaced his own neural technology with a neural technology he created based on the ones used by the Jaegers. Though the neural technology of the Jaegers was not so good power-wise but they were extremely versatile. So Shockwave created his own neural network which has both versatility, efficiency, and power.

The next year he practiced his new abilities. His Telekinesis is now good enough to easily lift a Jaeger 50 meters from the surface.

For his Gravity manipulation, just with a few shots, he can destroy a battleship. He still hasn't tried it out yet on a Jaeger.

But the greatest find according to him was from the body fluid of the Kaijus. They are artificial organisms! After studying the few blood cells, he found out that the Kaijus have been artificially created to be as big as biologically possible.

Today, after staying in his base for nearly two years, he was going to go out to learn about the portal from where the Kaijus come from.

He got out of his base and looked towards the skies. These two years the humans had tried to search for the Jaeger that he took and also the metal Kaiju, but he didn't pay them any attention.

He called for his pet and Driller-bot instantly broke through the ground and laid beside him. He also improved the Driller-bot, now Driller-bot has a body that contains both organic and robotics. Driller-bot is currently a Trans-Organic being. He created flesh based on the flesh of the Titans. Though it may not have the complete immortality of the Titans, Driller bot has got hyper-regeneration as one of its traits. But that is not enough. Shockwave is trying to make Driller-bot even more powerful than the Dweller.

(AN: For those of you who don't know, Dweller is like Driller-bot. It is also a huge worm-shaped creature, but the difference is that unlike the pure metal Driller-bot, the Dweller has both organic and metal body parts. The Dweller was extremely strong. It was created by the Quintessons, but even the Quintessons had the Dweller sealed due to its power. The Dweller can drain the energy from anything it touches and is nearly indestructible)

A section of the Driller-bot opened up and he entered that section. After placing himself properly inside the Driller-bot, the Driller bot dug into the ground and started moving towards the portal, or The Breach as they call it.

"Sir! The Driller has been detected on the radars!"(AN: The humans should call his pet as Driller because that's what Driller-bot does.)

His superior hurriedly looked over to the radar and pointed towards a large red mark. "That one?"

"Yes sir!"

"Why is it heading towards the Breach?"

"Sir, I don't know."

"No matter, which Jaegers are free right now?"

"Sir, the Cherno Alpha was brought here for maintenance but after the government abandoned the Jaeger project, it has been staying in our base. The pilots are also free currently."

"Give them the order to intercept the Driller no matter what. It cannot be allowed to reach the Breach. It is an irregular and till I know what it can do I cant sleep peacefully. And soldiers, I value my sleep a lot."

Everyone got down to work immediately. The Jaeger was inspected for any kind of damage within a few minutes, while the pilots got ready. Within an hour the pilots were inside the cockpit of the Jaeger, ready to move out. They looked towards the location of the Kaiju and saw that it was moving slowly, sometimes it was also stopping at a few places.

'Interesting' Thought Shockwave. The Driller-bot was going through the water just above the bedrock when Shockwave asked it to stop at a few places.

At one of those places, Shockwave got out from his pet and used his telekinesis to help him move through the water. He then looked down towards the ground and saw that some kind of energy was flowing through it. He saw many of these while heading towards the Breach and he discovered that this thing was also carrying the energy towards the Breach. He wanted to experiment with it a little, but abandoned that idea because a single wrong move can completely close the Breach.

He then got inside Driller-bot and was about to start moving again but suddenly he felt some loud thuds from the ground. Using his radar he saw a Jaeger heading towards him. He ordered Driller-bot to keep on moving but the Jaeger suddenly started firing towards him.

The pilots of the Cherno Alpha released a lot of missiles towards the Driller. But what surprised them was that the Driller was completely unharmed from the barrage. Beside the Jaeger many battleships and fighter jets were also present. All provided if something unnatural happens.

Slowly the Driller started rising up from under the water. The Driller then coiled around itself. The pilots became prepared to intercept any kind of attack. But instead of attacking, a part of the Driller opened up and something walked out.

"What the hell is that thing?!" Asked one of the Jaeger pilots to his partner.
