Our lives are based on lies.
Historically, heroes were supposed to be the role models we looked up to, but were they?
Some of them steal other people's fiancées, murder people to make a point, and so on.
If these are the heroes, then who was the villain?
Does being killed by a hero make someone a villain?
Has anyone had the experience of living the life of a villain? Were they truly the villains we were led to believe they were?

寫檢討CRITICAL REVIEW I'm critical, but I'm lenient enough to give 5s if it is entertaining or written well. You deserve it! Although its going to be a 4.8! Read 113 chaps (which is basically current as of this review). To be honest, I don't reach much anti-hero stories of ruthless MCs on the level of like revered insanity so it was a refreshing read. Well actually this story is as the title says "Life of a Villain". For this MC, he's definitely a villian than a anti-hero. Writing quality - pretty much almost no errors really. If there's a unneeded complaint that would be for it have more descriptive in writing. It's already done enough to convey its point and most importantly its a web novel. This ain't no published book you find from a bookstore. Story development- Good pacing but a little on the slow side. The later the chapters, the faster it goes. It has clichés' sure, but its definitely an above average cultivation novel. I would definitely recommend it. Its interesting to see an the MC ruthlessly cut all paths and makes sure that his enemy, the novel's protagonist, absolutely can't ever stand against him. Character wise, the story does only try to flesh out the real major characters. Key word is try. On the other hand, because of the pacing and chaos, it does feel that side characters are left out. I don't think that's a bad thing. For this author's story this is sufficient and particularly due to one major circumstance: the MC has his cheat, but also has many resources from the getgo which other cultivation stories force the MC to slowly get. As for my favourite character, probably only the Sect Master of Eternal Palace. Much like other characters in his position, we only really see events that force him to come for plot convenience. However, its refreshing and somewhat unique seeing a smart sect master making the wise choice to side with the mc. Even though he doesn't have much feelings for him and is basically forced to. The dynamic of the MC and the protagonist is something that I will continue to enjoy in the series. As for other characters, surprisingly meh. I will reiterate: most of the characters in the novel only feel that they are there to serve their purpose. I won't deny the story plot is interesting, and they fulfil their role well, but as a consequence that's what they end up feeling like and its been 100 chaps. It might be an inevitable consequence, World Background. It's a huge world. Lots of connections between places influencing the three realms already in 100 chaps. Downside? Due to the story's nature, the actual individual places and stuff in the world is not fleshed out. I still will give it a 5 tho after all, it's good enough for what this story is trying to tell. Love the story though! And will continue to read it~~ Hoping to find a heroine to ship as I usually do in harem stories.
Typical Cultivation and Transmigration Novel. Started off fine, but MC is still referred to as Andy. I dont care that was his previous worlds name and he doesnt feel like he belongs in this world. If the setting has only chinese names, adapt your MC to have a chinese name. If he wanted to pay homage to his name Andy here is a good name for you to use. An Di. Faking his suicide and adapting a new name is a good plot point. Since he doesnt want to be around that clan its good to be out on his own as he knows the story and its plot. But seriously to use an English name and no one thinks that it isnt weird? Had to drop because the name Andy was in nearly every paragraph each chapter. Very hard to get into a story that is supposed to be Chinese Cultivation but somehow isnt due to a single word.
Another brainless cultivation story, this is below average in terms of cultivation novels, in truth the only positive thing in favor of this novel is its acceptable grammar while the writing itself its just too rushed, lots of parts that would normally help establish the world are simply skipped or just briefly mentioned, flat characters and the fact that literally everything is a cultivation cliche and many times it seems as if the author isnt even trying to write an original story that makes sense and only goes from one cliche to another, truly mediocre. I dont get why all the reviews are so high, probably the author deleting all the bad reviews? I dont know but i dont have high hopes about this
揭示劇透The plot was a bit common with the same orphan thing in the starting but still, you did your best to make it different from others. The book is still in its starting stage so I can't say much about it but I bet its a promising novel. so keep it up and sorry for the late review.
the beginning of the story is quite interesting but the longer you read it turns into a MC novel who is very easily offended, he kills here and there without thinking, just because he has the inheritance of a demon god.

It's a good book. you should try it. The life of a villain is described by the author. you should read this book. I guarantee that you will not disappointed.
So far i don't have any complaints. I am at 112 now aka latest chapter unlockable by fast pass. The Mc is not like wuxia protagonist. He understands how the world works and tries to use it to his advantage and takes advantage of the plot of the original story. I recommend this to you if you want a story where the VILLAIN (our protagonist) face slaps THE PROTAGONIST (aka the original protagonist). Overall the writing quality is good(which is surprising in webnovel). I hope the author REAPER will keep working hard on this novel and we will support unquestionably for that.

the plot is amazing and the story is very interesting, I highly recommend it, the personality of the protagonist and two other characters is very good, I really liked it, now the harem only appeared one and you can't talk too much about her
A gem of a novel indeed, made me hooked from the start and didn't make me uninterested. 1. Writing quality: Better than most orginals, I have not discovered any mistakes. 2. Story development: Top level, I felt sad for the people living in that world, especially the Mc, I could kind of relate to him..... not being able to anything, if some random cultivator kills your family is very unfair and almost sickening! 3. Character design superb👌 4. Updating stability is also consistent. 5. World background is also done well. This is a story about how a guy transmigrates inside a novel that he had read and became a villain....but is he really the villain?..I don't think so.
As of this moment I already have read up to where the locked chapters are (around chapter 56), so I think it's already enough to write an initial review. So, the pros about this novel is that it is written comprehensively. There are little to no technical errors such as incorrect grammars and spellings. Next is that it has little bit of a blend of other genres with eastern fantasy at its base, and don't get me wrong, I like this kind of creativity. Now for the cons, although it is already that promising from its pros, the novel is not that immersive as I thought it would be. The cultivation realms was explained in the novel but the cultivation system was not properly explained. There are no information about the cultivation techniques or battle techniques the characters used. The fights are so short, few ,and lack a lot details. It lacks the thrill of what a eastern fantasy novel is known for. It's pace is like a wish fulfillment fanfic just on a lesser degree. And although it was creative of blending other genres in a vast setting such as eastern fantasy, the novel already restricted itself by focusing more on destiny destiny what not. It kind of limited its potential. And btw, this is just my own opinion and experience in reading the novel. It is not the sole truth about this novel. Others or you might think or experience differently compared to my thoughts on the novel. So, be mindful of that.
I read up to chapter 43 and my opinion is that this novel is very good I loved continuing with this work of art I can't live another day without new chapters
I've always been a sucker for cultivation novels and this one, so far, has quite an interesting premise. Although the synopsis is vague and didn't give much info about the story, it was captivating enough, especially the opening sentence. Writing quality is good. There are some mistakes but it didn't disturb my reading experience. One thing I really like about the writer's way of writing is his simple words that flows so well. His way of storytelling is comfortable in the eyes and easy to understand. For the story developement, the pace is quite slow in my opinion but fortunately, the plot has started to reveal itself in the latest chapter, which is ch 8. There's a little plot twist in the last ch, which I find quite surprising and entertaining, making me have the urge to read more. I'll be looking forward for your next chapter so good luck, Author! For the world background, can't judge much as it was still in its early chapter but overall, it's quite okay. We get to be introduced a bit about the world, the realms it has, and the background of mc's family. As for the character development, the story, despite being a 3rd pov, is written in the view of the mc. His thoughts and emotions are fully exposed to the reader which I thought is a good and efficient way to make readers feel closer to the mc. And the story background of Fang Yan, which I assume will be the main villain of the book, has been introduced quite early. So for the character development, I think the author has done a fairly good job in this aspect. Well, that's the end of my review. Hope that this will help attract readers for you, Author! I've run out of ps for today but I'll make sure to give you some tomorrow! Thanks for the wonderful story! Keep up the good work!
Excellent work! I hope this book would bear fruit to you, author! And I hope your readers would love it! Writing quality for me it's around 4/5 (but I am generous right now so 5) There are multiple things I'd like to point out such as passive voice misuse, filter words, showing techniques, and some words that you need to delete. This include: *boring life (you need show the scene that would say that the MC has a boring life instead of telling it *no friends- the same goes to this one *was full of- passive voice misuse *he saw- filter words *he began to read- delaying the sentence *was sleeping-passive voice misuse
This was a very interesting book until somewhere near chapter 40 when MC personality does a complete 180 and just starts acting like a arrogant brat that just murders people for no good reason and threatens to wipe out there family. This is super hypocritical too because the whole story before that he is ragging on the “supposed” MC of the world he is in then instantly becomes the same person. This killed the book for me.
I'm not usually a fan of cultivation novels and the sort, but I won't lie, there's something about this book that is quite intriguing. I love your writing style and how simple your sentences are. I can tell that you paid a lot of attention to your spelling and grammar. I hope that you're novel gets more recognition. Honestly, keep up the good work [img=recommend]
overall this novel while focusing on a villian MC purely comes off as a someone who is both OP, has ulimited resources and is almost omniscent compared to everyone else with his previous knowledge and meta knowledge of cultivator tropes, honestly it just isnt enjoyable at this point and actually takes away from a novel about cultivation/wuxia fantasy.

pretty good novel so far. the overall idea of the story is executed nicely without being written like the typical cultivation novel. maybe the pace of a story is a tad bit slow, but if you could keep regular updates (maybe daily?) i can see this novel have great success, or maybe this last part of the pace and updates can just be my wishful thinking and overall preference. anyway keep up the good work and hope to see more
