"En." She replied, curtly. Elliot didn't say anything, focusing his attention to the road instead.

He knew that Lillie does not trust anyone easily. Upsetting it may sound but he knew he's one of them and he respected her judgements.

He too, does not trust anyone...excluding her, of course. He owe his life to her. He willingly offered it and let her use it to her heart's content.
