章節 22: Gifts
Finishing my shower, I dry myself and then put on my clothes, after leaving the bathroom, I hear my cell phone ringing, I answered it quickly, because I already know who it is.
Answering the phone, on a video call, I see my mom and dad, who are traveling, all over the world.
After twenty minutes, talking to my parents, I say goodbye to them, hang up the video call, and head towards my room, as Gwen is probably there.
Arriving in front of my bedroom door, I use x-ray vision to see what Gwen is doing in there, just out of curiosity, and see she's just lying on mine.
Opening the door to my room, I say, "Gwen, Harry said she'll be here in half an hour, along with Peter, Liz will take a little longer, she said she's getting ready."
"Cool, I already told my father that I'm going to sleep here."
"All right then, what are we going to do while we wait for them to arrive?" I asked Gwen.
Smiling Gwen replied, "How about we play, Mortal Kombat, I've been training a little, to beat you."
"Okay, but don't cry later, when you lose, for flawless victory," I said, to tease Gwen.
"Let's see then," Gwen said, with a determined face.
Fifteen minutes later, Gwen spoke a little annoyed, "let's stop this game, it's not fun playing with you".
Laughing a little, I said, "Want to play another game?"
"Let's just talk, they're probably almost there," Gwen said, still a little irritated.
And so we talked for a few minutes, until I got a message from Harry, asking to open the gate for him and Peter to enter.
I opened the gate with my cell phone, still in my room, and Gwen and I went downstairs, as my room is on the second floor, and went to meet Peter and Harry.
And so Harry and Peter greeted me, and each of them gave me a birthday present.
The gift Harry gave me was a leather jacket with a hood, he gave me that, probably because I told him I'm going to "buy" a motorcycle, he probably thinks I'll look good in a leather jacket, driving the motorcycle.
The gift Peter gave me was not a physical one, but a skin he opened last week, to be more precise an m9 bayonet night, this is a CS GO knife skin, although it's not very expensive, it's a good one Knife.
And so I, Gwen, Peter and Harry were talking, for about ten minutes or so, until I got a message again, only this time from Liz.
Opening the gate for Liz, we went to meet her, who when she saw me, quickly gave me a hug, for almost a minute, until she let go of me, and handed me a box.
Opening the box I see, a pair of tickets, for a concert by a band I like, this band didn't exist in my old world.
Liz said that she bought two tickets, so I could choose whoever I wanted to go to the show with me, but she already knows who I'll choose to go with me, because among our friends, Liz and whoever loves the band.
Even though I knew her plans, I didn't say anything about it, I just asked her if she wanted to go with me, obviously she said yes, with a smile on her face.
After Liz arrived, we walked in and headed towards my room.
