"Actually," Lumielle said as she waved Evangeline forward. The maid had just come back on a task. Carefully, the female placed a box in front of the young Princess. "I have a gift for Lady Cosette," she responded a smile curving on her features.

Cosette's eyes widened as did everyone else, "I know that things have been very difficult with the loss of a parent, I too can sympathize."

"You didn't need to," Cosette mumbled out, she could feel the piercing honesty in her words but she pretended to not see. After all, she had felt victory today.

Rowena smiled brightly, "Come on, open it, Lady Cosette!"

Carefully, polished fingers brought back the top of the box to reveal a beautiful dress. The hue being a soft lilac, the same color as Lumielle's hair. She saw Cosette's eyes harden, a look of disgust flashing across her expression as the rest of the girls looked rather confused at the expression of the young girl.
