章節 1: Intro
"Jesus Christ. Where the hell are we going to go now?"
Two high school boys sat behind a small wall of a small park in the middle of nowhere. Open fields for miles. It was an abandoned neighborhood, used mostly by the homeless or those living in poverty. The town had a name that was long forgotten, and no one ever called it anything again other than "The Pit". The Pit wasn't too far from the slightly larger and more populated area of Fort Ntainethampweb. The Fort had a very shady past, usually associated with high school gangs and robberies, but the good old Fort had been long without any conflicts like that. Until now.
The two high school boys ran through the woods of Fort Ntainethampweb as fast as their bodies were able to. Legs burned, muscles ripped, and many trips ensued. They knew they were dead. Dead. They had messed with the wrong people, and now they were paying for it dearly.
"Keep going! I still hear the car!" One yelled to the other. They were about five minutes now from The Pit.
"I see it!" One of them yelled after a while. "The p-park! Go to the park!"
The boys ran through the open field until they were behind the short stone wall that enclosed one side of the playground area. They got as low as possible. One of them was coughing and spitting uncontrollably.
"Keep yourself quiet, dumbass! They're going to find us!"
Just then the car came out of the woods. A red pickup truck, with a certain symbol on the side. The symbol that would become distinguishable to everyone in the town, and much farther around the areas. The engine stopped, and there were feet on the ground. Steel-toed boots. The boys held their mouths and prayed silently. The footsteps approached the park edge and stopped. A deep breath was taken. The footsteps started in the other direction. One of the boys sighed with relief and then was picked up and thrown over the back of the wall.
"Shit! Shit!" The other one said. He shot upwards and was simultaneously pulled backward. There were two others along with the high school boys. A black sheet was pulled over his face, and he was hit hard in the stomach. As he tried not to throw up, a deep voice spoke.
"Well. Well. Well. What's up? How's life?" One of the boys heard the other get hit with something. "You thought you could get away with what you did? You put my best friend in the hospital!"
The other boy was slammed in the face with the back of a fist. He was knocked out immediately. He made a gurgling sound and collapsed. His lip had split, and his nose was crushed.
The conscious boy tried to apologize.
"Oh." The assailant said. "I accept your apology, not. It's too late for that. I don't want to hear it. It's too late for that."
"P-Please."
"No. I don't think so."
The sheet was removed. There stood 3 people he recognized instantly even with the masks on. Each one had a black mesh face covering with one eye exposed. He knew why they were here. The one with the black hood on bent over, and as they all raised their fists, he whispered,
