章節 18: THE RUMOR

~3 DAYS LATER~

Back at school again, it was a pretty long weekend, in my opinion. We were talking about the wild memories on our trip, in general everyone was tolerably satisfied with it. It was a typical day at school, but Chloe seemed to act unnatural. When I got back to class after the interval, I saw a note on my desk. I was sick of these notes, and I knew it was by Chloe. I silently walked towards my desk, I felt a bit cold, but I was used to it. I unfolded the note and read it. It asked if I was going good and if joanna and I were still friends but, it wasn't mentioned by whom it was. Was it Chloe or someone else?. why did this person ask if joanna and I are still friends? I didn't know anything about it. I folded the paper and went back out of the class unbothered with my friend. When the bell rung, we went back to class again. The piece of paper was still on my desk. I proceeded to put it to my bag. Later after school was over, joanna told me to hold her phone until she would be back. We are literally sister-friends, and that means we basically share everything and know everything about each other. So I checked out her phone until she comes back since she is totally cool with it. She came back from her work, and we went back home.

In the evening, Joanna texted me, but she seemed disappointed. She suddenly started with "why I was checking her private messages when she wasn't there," but I didn't know what she was talking about, I never did that, and I would never do that. In the first place, Joanna never told me anything about it. She was so mad at me that she said our friendship was over. I was so confused. I asked her about what she was talking about, but she never texted me back.
