Li Xian could hardly believe his ears and all he was able to do was stare in shock at the woman who had been toiling with his emotions ever since she returned from her late-night market visit.

"K-kiss you...?" He found himself asking as if he wanted to confirm that he wasn't just hearing things.

"En!" Xiang Ling nodded her head in the positive but when Li Xian made no move to fulfill her demand, she asked, "Why? You don't want to?"

Li Xian remained still and continued to look at her. His lips parted slightly before closing without saying anything. Looking into his eyes, Xiang Ling could tell that there were numerous emotions and thoughts brewing in his brain and she wanted to have a peek at them. However, even if she had the ability to listen to his thoughts, she refrained herself from doing so. She couldn't invade his privacy like that.
