"Marry me Rabia." He looked at her in much pleading manner and was yet sitting on his knees intently looking at her and waiting for her reply.

Rabia gasped in shock and her mouth fell open hearing the man's words. "You... you just proposed marriage to me Firdauze?" 

"Yes Rabia. I did." He stepped a little closer to her, yet on his knees and held the girl's hands lovingly. "I know, I am a difficult man to deal with and I have done some terrible things in the past. But, trust me from the day I met you I am a changed man. I promise to take care of you like a wonderful husband and we can live forever happily. I love you Rabia, with all my heart." He gently kissed the girl's hand while he bowed in front of her in much respect.

Rabia took deep breaths in nervouseness as she did not know what to reply to him. She had only known the man from past few days and apart from that he had only looked at him like her master. "Can you give me some time to think? Please?"
