TBH,It's a good story. The fL is stupid but when you use the genre teen...you have remember that Teens are bound to do silly mistakes and that's what Lucy is doing...I won't give much spoilers coz it will apoil the fun. I want Lucia to be d@m adult but she as a teenage girl is acting a per age. As for Leo,I have no words for him. He is confusing me...I can't hate him nor I can like him.... But for once I really want them to think with a clam brain....and perhaps all their problems will be solved...but what's the fun of story if the solve the problem in day one?

A very romantic novel and i like how the author will add mystery in each chapter that hook me to know what will happened in the future chapter. can not wait to see how this novel will develop in the future. O(∩_∩)O
I totally fell in love with the cover and the synopsis. The latter was really well written, although it was too short. The first hundred words were definitely enough to capture my attention. I love the way the story explain the scene with good vocabulary. My only complaint is that I can't understand whether the story is in the third person or first person as that hasn't been mentioned. I am desperate to know more about the future of the two. I wonder how they will come back together and if they will ever fall in love again.
This story holds so much potential at first sight. However, upon reading the first chapters of the novel, there are some points I need to elaborate for improvement. After all, the room for improvement is right around the corner. Island of Memories; the title alone is a clickbait. As we all know, memories are everyone's weakness for love. In this story, I can decipher that the love between the leads is exceptional. The good points I have seen were: 1) The one-liner synopsis has an intriguing element that will make the readers attentive with the story. 2) The first chapter depicted the relationship between the FL with the ML inside the coffee shop. You could see that their ill-fated relationship is something that the readers wanted to know more in the newest chapters. There are things that are need of improvement: 1) The synopsis meant to have an overview of the novel. The one liner is good, but it lacked elements of explanation of what is the theme of the novel itself. 2) The redundancy and usage of dialogue tags. Usually, we use dialogue tags to provoke the statements of the character itself. Using "said" "asked" "shouted" repeated consistently all throughout the chapters. I suggest improving the use of other tags to embark emotions further. 3) Punctuations. The punctuations after dialogue tag should be in a comma form. Ex. "I'm inside the coffee shop," the girl mumbled. You could opt to split sentences which are hard to read. Ex. "I'm inside the coffee shop. I need to buy some coffee there." The girl mumbled in a low voice. She turned around to push the glass door behind her. These are the improvements I took down with the knowledge I have learned all throughout. Either way, you did a good job with your first chapters. You just need to nitpick everything and see if it fits the right emotions for your characters. Overall, you did a good job with your first novel!

After I read this chapter I notice some errors, though, it doesn't matter since the author delivered and make the scene clear for me. It's a thumbs up for me.
First loves are always the sweetest but the hardest to forget, no one can deny that we all have flash backs of our high schools selves and done stupid things that we thought that time are sane and rational. Then laugh it out when we grew out of it? Love the story...
One word, Drama. That's all you need to describe this novel. Purely dedicating your time to write heart wrenching stories, is nothing short of a sadistic author wanting to see the readers cry. Although there are grammatical errors, each chapter entails a vivid imagery that bypasses the novel's flaws. Still, there's lots to improve on so do your best in writing.
So far, I like the storyline. Very interesting. The characters are well introduced and I like how the author wrote the interactions between her characters. The flow is good, but I've noticed some minor grammatical errors that can sometimes confuse the current scenarioso. But overall, It's a good story. Definitely worth a read😊!! Nice job author!!
this is actually awesome, ngl.. very well written and very well describe for the characters. tho, i do warn anyone who will read this review, i only read the first chapter and i can say that it is already good.. the only problem i have is the wall of text.. i suggest that you should tone it down to 2 to 3 sentences per paragraph so it doesn't look like it is so compacted.

I'm not much of a fan of romance stories but I dig romance that start from childhood. (who doesn't like childhood friends turned into lovers, right? and the kid who pinches cheeks and hug a crying baby girl is such a flirt lol! but I like it, anyway) The writing needs fixing but I see potential in the amount of description in this novel. An author can only improve as time goes by so, gambatte author!~
A slow burn novel that focuses on the Characters' interactions and emotions. Some of the scenes are relatable and interesting. But the dialogue, descriptions, and MC's thoughts are kinda messed up so the author needs to fix it.
The story has an interesting plot. There are indeed some grammatical errors but you could still easily understand the story. I just read a few chapters but added it to my library. Keep it up author!

The story is interesting. One thing I want to add is that, the author should leave more paragraphs. The details and conversations are a little messed up, so it's a little bit hard to read. I gave you 5 stars only because I know you can improve and besides, one bad rating can ruin everything.
