章節 18: Chapter 15: the coldness in him
"so, where is the base?" wooyoung asked, wanting to get out of that sunny weather.
"it's just up here." hongjoong stopped suddenly, and wooyoung nearly ran into him. "careful there." hongjoong warned with a smirk. they stopped in front of a tall wall-like fence. it covered a lot of the area, and wooyoung couldn't see ahead anymore.
the farm had ended and now there was forest everywhere. trees were blocking their sight as hongjoong tried to look for something, possibly a switch somewhere. wooyoung curiously watched as hongjoong crouched in a bush trying to find the switch.
"a ha!" hongjoong yelled. "here it is." he added. a click could be heard and a door appeared in the wall. wooyoung widened his eyes and jumped in excitement. he was still amazed by everything on cera.
"cool!" wooyoung exclaimed. "can I go inside?" before he could take a step further, yeosang stopped him, a grim expression on his face. wooyoung glanced at hongjoong, who also had a disgusted expression. "what-"
"there's something inside..." yeosang stated. "we have to go back..."
"we have to go back my ass, I'm going to check what's inside." hongjoong sighed and approached the metal door attached to the wall. "the bitch who's broken inside, come the fuck back here and make yourself known." he yelled.
something dropped behind the wall, which scared wooyoung, causing him to tremble a little. "what was that?" he whimpered as he kept looking behind him, as if a monster would jump out from there.
"what the hell is-" wooyoung started, before he was interrupted by hongjoong.
"shut it wooyoung!" hongjoong shushed him. yeosang pursed his lips together, holding wooyoung a little closer than before, protecting the human from anything that would possibly attack them.
there was silence for a few minutes, as the trio waited. the silence was broken by hongjoong. "i'll go in first. you come in after me." he said, twisting the knob and pulling open the door. "this is sir. kim, the leader of the royal army. show yourself or you will be arrested immediately." he started speaking.
hongjoong rolled his eyes, entering the dark room. wooyoung could only watch as the older went inside. he was scared yes, but he somehow knew that the two would protect him from any danger.
the blue-haired raised his hand, the atmosphere getting a little chilly. frost started to pack on the walls, making the ground and floor a little slippery. wooyoung stared at hongjoong, who seemed to be using magic. his hand was releasing cold steam, the said steam spreading everywhere inside the room, making it unbearably cold.
yeosang grabbed hongjoong's shoulder, looking him in the eye. "you'll freeze me and wooyoung to death if you keep going, you know." he warned, pressing hongjoong's shoulder a little harder with his hand.
"I'm luring the burglar out." hongjoong smirked. "just stand back and watch me."
