The next morning, Kiana got up early, though, without a proper bed, as usual. Climbing down from the carefully crafted treehouse she'd built herself, she hummed cheerfully. Today was a special day—the day she'd finally get her guaranteed supply drop. How could she not be excited?

Taking her phone out from her chest, she completed her daily refinery coin-collection task, then placed the phone a little way off, stepping back to make sure it was out of view.

"Here… Ai-chan shouldn't be able to see," she murmured mischievously, peeking cautiously from behind the tree as she eyed the phone on the ground, a naughty look crossing her face.

Indeed, she'd become addicted to the self-soothing habit of the "affinity system," losing her former innocence.

After a month of effort, Kiana had finally maxed out her affinity with the Scarlet armor. Now, she was working on the "White Comet" armor's affinity.

She let out a soft sigh, running her hand gently over herself, but suddenly felt embarrassed. What if some perverted uncle suddenly showed up? That would certainly be like a R-rated story scene!

Soon, she hit the day's affinity limit. However, Kiana wasn't ready to stop just yet. Her face grew increasingly flushed, and finally, with a shiver, she collapsed onto the tree, panting.

"Oh, Captain seems to be enjoying herself!" Ai-chan's voice suddenly chimed from above. Kiana's face went pale with shock. Caught in the act!

"I've warned you before, Captain! If you keep this up, I'm going back to where I came from. Seems like Captain hasn't learned her lesson yet."

"No, please don't leave, Ai-chan! I was wrong; I promise it won't happen again!" Kiana cried as she climbed the tree to retrieve her phone, now smeared with sticky residue.

A spark of electricity flickered, forcing her to let go. A puff of black smoke emerged from her mouth.

"Silly Captain! Go wash your hands and wipe Ai-chan clean with a cloth!"

"Yes, ma'am, Ai-chan!"

Half an hour later, after Ai-chan forgave her, she returned to Kiana's chest, and Kiana set off on her next mission. Today's task required her to defeat enemies using the White Comet armor, part of the Kiana armor series. Unfortunately, it was the only armor she had.

In a previous supply drop, Kiana had obtained an initial three-star pistol weapon, the Fire Fairy II. This pistol not only had a decent attack power and a slight crit rate but also had a valuable skill.

Its skill, "Flame Burst," consumed 18 SP, had a 12-second cooldown, and fired an explosive grenade dealing 250% physical damage to all enemies within the blast radius. Additionally, it dealt 48 flame elemental damage every half second for three seconds and could be used twice.

This weapon was a godsend for Kiana, especially since it saved her the trouble of starting fires. She had previously spent a whole 60 crystals trying to light a fire, only for it to extinguish when she left it to complete her tasks. With rain pouring over ten days of the past month, her campfire would go out repeatedly.

Kiana was reluctant to eat raw meat; she had lived in the civilized world in her past life and just couldn't stomach it. Finally, the Fire Fairy II replaced her previous thermal cutter, nearly moving her to tears.

Sixty crystals—it pained her. To put it into perspective, 30 million Beli could only be exchanged for 200 crystals. She had used up countless Beli just to make a small fire—money well spent!

Kiana upgraded her Fire Fairy II to level 25. Unlike the Pulse Blade, which only Meiya could use, the Fire Fairy II was a dual-gun weapon from the Kiana series. Every character series usually had a transitional weapon, so she strengthened the dual pistols.

The Pulse Blade, an initial three-star weapon, was upgraded to a four-star and was now at its max level, fulfilling Kiana's offensive needs for now. She hadn't yet encountered creatures on the island that could withstand its power.

In terms of Stigmata, Kiana assembled a low-tier two-star set. Apart from adding minor health and attack boosts, they weren't particularly useful. She didn't even have an initial three-star Stigma, marking her as unlucky.

For armor fragments, Kiana had collected enough for White Comet, just four short of upgrading it to A-rank Valkyrie. The Scarlet armor needed only one more, while the Chariot armor still required fifteen fragments.

Upgrading armor from B to A rank required 20 corresponding armor fragments, A to S rank required 50, S to SS rank required 100, and SS to SSS rank required 200. Some armor types, like those from the Yae Sakura series, required far more fragments.

After upgrading, the armor would unlock additional skills and improve its basic stats like attack power, crit rate, and weight, greatly enhancing overall performance.

Now, holding the Fire Fairy II, Kiana spotted a lone red marker on her radar. Without hesitation, she aimed and unleashed a Flame Burst.

Boom!

The grenade exploded, creating a three-meter-deep crater within a five-meter radius of the target.

The enemy's body was quickly engulfed in flames, disappearing from this harsh world without even a scream.

"All set—two more to go!"

Turning, Kiana set off to find her next target.
