After they returned home, the day passed without anything else of note happening, and like that, Lily went to sleep.
The following day was also uneventful, but Lily noticed that her parents had some new reservations about getting too close to her now that they were aware of her physical capabilities, specifically her mother.
On the other hand, her father seemed rather proud in some odd way.
But she didn't mind; she understood her mother's reasoning; after all, she was just a normal weak person. When faced with the fact that the little girl you are tasked to not only take care of but monitor and protect is stronger than you.
It can be very demoralizing.
But that didn't matter; she would get over it eventually.
And like that, yet another day passed without any news from Phil or anyone else.
It seemed they were still discussing it and were probably even going over the various test results to see if training her would be truly wise.
However, they came to a decision quick enough, as on the next day, the 3rd of February, they called her parents and asked for her to be brought back in.
They left not even an hour later, returning to the S.H.I.E.L.D. building.
Rather than going down to the basement floors, they went up to where they had originally met Phil, entering the room to greet him again.
"You've arrived, good. Good day Agents, and how are you doing, Lily?"
Phil said with a smile as he lowered himself and greeted Lily, who replied with a smile of her own.
"I'm doing good, Uncle Phil."
She remembered that he had given her permission to call him Uncle Phil, so she decided to use it. It would make him more likely to get closer to her, which would benefit her in the long run for the things she wanted.
"That's good to hear. Do you know why I wanted to meet you today?"
Shaking her head, Lily said no.
"They only told me that you had something you wanted to tell me."
"That's right, but rather than tell you, I would like to ask you something."
Replied Phil as he took a seat and told her to take one as well.
"What do you think about being taught by us? Not just the basic lessons you would learn from a school, but also how to fight and how to survive."
When he asked the question, he kept his eyes on the girl, looking for some sort of reaction.
They wanted her to officially begin training as an Agent, and doing so from a young age would be better than waiting until she was older. Even if he disagreed with the method, he couldn't argue that she would be able to bare it physically.
But he was worried about her mental state.
On the other hand,, Lily was waiting for exactly this, but she couldn't show that on her face.
She played the part and slightly frowned, her brows in a confused manner as she asked him a question.
"What does that mean?"
"Well, think of it like this, your parents are Agents that work for us, and we would like to train you to be just like them. Would you like that?"
Her parents were somewhat surprised by their intentions, but they were merely Agents, so they didn't say anything and just stood back.
"Will I be as strong as them?"
"Of course, you might even be stronger."
Phil replied with a smile, and after a few seconds, Lily nodded her head, agreeing to their proposal.
"Ok, I want to be an Agent then."
"Great, you're a smart girl; I'm sure you will do well. We will begin your lessons right away since it's early."
It seems they already expected her to agree with them, or if she didn't agree right away, they would do everything they could to possibly make her agree.
Phil stood up and took up a screen from the desk, and after searching through it for a while, he pulled out a routine she would follow.
It was a simple and repetitive routine, and unlike other S.H.I.E.L.D recruits, she wouldn't be trained at a different location or academy but rather be trained in the basement right here.
She would be trained by specific Agents that were tasked with training her in different fields. She would also be taught her common schooling to make it even more distant from normal training routines for Agents.
The routine was simple, but it went something like this;
Monday to Wednesday would be teaching her the common school curriculum during the Mornings; during the Evenings, she would be taught information pertaining to S.H.I.E.L.D. and their brainwashing.
Thursday to Friday, she would be taught physical training from Morning, with a short break around lunchtime; then, she would be trained in different aspects of the job.
Saturday and Sunday were rest days; as she was still young, they didn't want to push her too much and cause her to break.
Also, they didn't have any physical fitness training on the routine since her body was already much better than a human's, so training her fitness would be of little help.
Instead, they focused more on teaching her the techniques she needed to learn.
Which she was gladly willing to learn since she lacked those.
So far, she had been fighting purely on instincts and moving how her body wanted to move like a wild animal. She was predictable and easy to beat if someone as strong as her with better skill than she fought.
As she got stronger and fought even stronger people, techniques would be the deciding factor in most hand-to-hand fights.
So she did as they wished, and like that, her training phase of S.H.I.E.L.D. began.
