51.85% In Lookism as Gojo / Chapter 14: Not Human

章節 14: Not Human

"Integration in process (100%)," the mechanical voice announced. "Congratulations on successful transformation."

His bloody hands suddenly ceased their actions, his shrunken pupil returning to its original state

He slowly opened his eyes to the rainy clouds at night. At this moment, all other noises faded into the background.

Raindrops gently touched his face, creating a soothing sensation and calming him down as he took deep breaths, and steam rose from his body.

His stoic expression transformed into a sinister smile as he glanced behind him, looking at the carnage he had unleashed.

A wall of hundreds of people, stacked like lifeless bodies, filled the entire road, drenched in blood, giving him a rough idea of what 'auto-pilot' he heard before he lost consciousness truly meant.

"Well, it seems like I lost control," he spoke, his smile sending shivers down the spine of the person before him.

Time felt like it slowed down, and the raindrops seemed to fall gently as if in slow motion. he felt like he could dodge them with ease if he wanted to

He clenched his fist, looking at their bloody state, savoring the raw strength that could easily bend the battle tanks like tin cans

The streetlight's glow dimmed as an umbrella opened above him, causing his attention to return from his self-monologues to the short teenager in front of him

It was Eugene, staring at him with a look of fascination and fear in his eyes.

"Could you please step away from my brother, sir? He'll die if this continues," he requested, maintaining a polite smile.

Looking down, Ryu suddenly realized he was indeed standing on someone's throat who was struggling to breathe.

Stepping away from the guy's throat, he started walking toward his car, leaving the man behind, coughing and squirming with blood oozing from his mouth.

"Just a mome-" Eugene came to a halt when he saw Ryu wave his hand, signaling him to stop without even glancing back.

Swallowing his words back. He decided it would be wise to just remain silent.

The heavy downpour drenched Ryu, his shirt now completely torn and gone during the fight. As he moved, his perfect physique was unveiled, a body that appeared as though it had been sculpted by the very hands of the God of War, Ares himself, crafting perfection in every way for a man.

Instilling a sense of fear in every living being, making them feel like they are facing the ultimate predator, who is standing atop the food chain.

General POV

Ryu leaned against his car, the rain washing away the blood and sweat from the intense brawl. He cracked open a can of beer and dialed Hwan's number.

As Hwan picked up, he shouted in anger, demanding to know where the hell he had been that he wouldn't even pickup the calls.

"Where the hell have you been?" Hwan shouted into the phone, his voice laced with anger. But before Hwan could continue, Ryu cut him off.

"Meet me at the garage," Ryu said calmly, the seriousness in his tone was evident to hwan which is not something very common. Hwan knew that when Ryu's voice had that kind of tone, it meant something big is on the way.

"Alright, I'll be there," Hwan replied, hanging up and turning to his friends.

With an hurried expression looking at the watch, "Hey, guys, everything's wrapped up with Jiho. so now bye I have something important to attend." Hwan informed the other that he had to go as he doesn't want anyone tailing behind him

But Crystal Choi, wearing a annoyed expression and eyeing Hwan's tattoos and his abrupt phone conversation with his friend just now, couldn't resist asking, "What's so important in the middle of the night?" She clearly thought Hwan was some kind of delinquent who bullied other people.

Hwan simply grabbed his umbrella and replied, "None of your business bitch!" He left the shop, leaving Crystal and others in shock.

Khoji couldn't help but hide his laugh at Crystal's expression seeming to get shocked as this is the first time some one disrespected her like this in the second body.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the dimly lit room, Charles Choi clenched his fists in frustration as he processed the shocking images in front of him.

"Gun and Goo, two of them losing to Ryu Hanma... It's unbelievable," he muttered under his breath. His inner monologue was filled with rage as his plans were being interrupted, and new problems were arising.

Tom Lee, a massive man, sat on the oversized sofa, wearing an amused expression as he muttered, "That's not human," as he opened an old soju bottle and gazed at the photo before him. The image displayed a towering teenager, 6'3 in height, with a muscular, shredded body like nothing he had ever seen before. The blood-drenched, muscular back seemed to resemble the face of an angry demon.

He picked up another photo and walked over to Charles Choi, who stood at the edge of a still under-construction building, observing the bustling city below. In the photo, Ryu held Goo by his leg, using him as a makeshift weapon to beat off both Big Deal and The Workers' crew members.

"You said you couldn't find anything about him, except that he's a transfer student from Japan, right?" Tom asked Charles, who was examining a photo in his hand. Charles replied, "Yes, and it's almost believable with how precise the information is forgotten. That's what's making his information seem fake." Tom rubbed his chin, finding the situation rather intriguing after a long time.

"Someone like him doesn't become this powerful all of a sudden. Someone influential is backing him up, like a family or maybe the H or T group. But there's no one with his characteristics on your watch list. It's almost like..." Tom began, but Charles interrupted, shouting, "Almost like revenge! But for what?" He crushed the picture in his hand and flung it off the building.

"Well anyway, about the thing you asked earlier you know I have to go there myself right," Tom Lee looked at Charles, rubbing his hands as a signal. "It's your choice whether you want to take the job or not, because I'm sure he will cross paths with you sooner or later." Tom Lee laughed heartily at his friends comment

"I don't care what happens to anyone else, as long as someone doesn't touch my money. If he comes for me, I'll tear him apart and present him to you for free. But I don't think you want to wait until then, right?"

"Do this for your old friend, Tom, and the money will be delivered as you finish the job. The amount you asked for isn't small," Charles replied with a sigh, taking a small container of expensive drink from his coat pocket.

"Come on, don't be stingy. We have a lot of business left to do, including the business with the nobles, right?" Tom Lee said as he turned to leave, putting on his hat. He glanced back at his friend for a last look and added with the smile of a door-to-door salesman, "Consider the job finished, as the White Tiger Job Center has received the petition."

As the other person departed, Charles turned his attention to another file sitting on the table. The front of the file bore the name "Nobles."

He walked toward the file and opened the first page, revealing the face of a middle-aged man with a stoic expression and a slash mark on the right side of his lip.

"Harry Nam... We will meet soon, and I hope it will be under more of a friendly circumstances," Charles murmured to himself as he gazed at the image of the man in the file.
