Adrian once again couldn't believe that his life would end up so happily with Shaga. The man he had loved all this time and who had given birth to a cute and clever little boy, Sebastian.

They had let Garvin choose a name for their child, and Adrian hoped it would help them leave their past behind. Shaga and he had gotten married, and all their problems had been resolved.

But as it turned out, things weren't that simple. He could sense the movements of the werewolf hunters in the forest when Adrian was enjoying his nights there. He could run beneath the shadows of the trees without being noticed and chose not to kill them as long as his identity remained hidden.

Adrian was thinking about finding a safe place for Shaga and their child. He didn't want to live under the constant fear that his true identity might be discovered. But in reality, there was nowhere truly safe; the hunters had their ways of tracking their prey.
