When Goten finally opened his eyes, he found himself in a dimly lit cave, the air filled with a strange, ethereal glow. He tried to sit up, wincing as the pain from the battle resurfaced. Beside him, Trunks lay unconscious, his chest rising and falling steadily.
Aragorn was seated nearby, tending to a small fire. When he noticed Goten was awake, he approached, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Rest, young warrior. You've endured much."
Goten glanced down at the map still clutched in his hand, his grip tightening as he recalled Eldaron's final words. "Eldaron... he…"
Aragorn nodded solemnly. "He gave everything to protect you. His last wish was for you to reach the Supreme Fruit. It holds the power you need to face the darkness in this realm."
Goten took a shaky breath, nodding. The reality of Eldaron's sacrifice weighed on him, but he knew he couldn't let it be in vain. After a moment, he looked to Aragorn, determination flashing in his eyes. "Then let's find that fruit."
The next day Goten and Trunks have a Zenkai boost from their defeat yesterday as Aragorn guided Goten and Trunks following the path laid out on the map. The journey was grueling the darkness seemed to press in on them from all sides, a constant reminder of the danger lurking in the realm. Aragorn explained that the Supreme Fruit was hidden in the heart of a sacred grove deep within the mountain, protected by ancient magic.
As they journeyed, Aragorn shared stories of the Supreme Fruit, a mystical artifact that held the essence of the realm's purest energy. "It is said to amplify a warrior's greatest strength, evolving it to heights even the oldest of our kind can only dream of," Aragorn explained. "If you consume it, Goten, it will evolve your Kaioken to be strong enough to rival the Great Evil itself."
Goten listened intently, his resolve strengthening with every step. He looked at Trunks, who was listening in silence, his eyes mirroring Goten's determination. The loss of Eldaron was fresh in their minds, but they both knew their mission was bigger than their grief.
At last, after hours of navigating, they reached a hidden grove bathed in an otherworldly glow. In the center of the grove stood a lone tree, ancient and gnarled, with a single, radiant fruit hanging from its branches.
The Supreme Fruit gleamed with a light so intense it seemed to push back the surrounding darkness.
Goten approached the tree slowly, his heart pounding. He reached out, carefully plucking the fruit from its branch, feeling a surge of energy pulse through him. Aragorn watched in reverent silence, nodding as Goten took a bite of the fruit.
A powerful warmth spread through Goten's body, and his Kaioken energy flared, filling the grove with a crimson glow that rivaled the light of the Supreme Fruit.
The energy intensified, and Goten felt his Kaioken evolve, growing stronger and more stable. His aura blazed, brighter and more powerful than he'd ever felt before with Kaioken beforehand as he finishes eating the supreme fruit.
Trunks stared, awe-struck. "Goten… that's incredible."
Before Goten could respond, a sudden rumbling echoed through the cave. The ground shook, and the shadows twisted, signaling the approach of the Great Evil. Its monstrous form loomed at the entrance of the grove, eyes blazing with hatred as it roared, its dark energy swirling menacingly.
Aragorn stepped forward, his sword drawn. "It's come for us. But this time, you have the power to stand against it, Goten."
Goten clenched his fists, his newfound strength surging within him. He met the Great Evil's gaze, unafraid, and took a step forward, his aura blazing. "This is for Eldaron."
The creature lunged, its claws slashing through the air, but Goten dodged, his movements faster and more controlled than ever before.
Goten then screams with all his might "Supreme Kaioken!" He activated Supreme Kaioken, his aura intensifying as he charges at the Great Evil, striking with a force that shook the ground. The monster staggered, taken aback by the sheer strength of Goten's attack.
Trunks and Aragorn watched in awe as Goten unleashed a relentless assault, his strikes precise and powerful. The Great Evil retaliated, lashing out with tendrils of dark energy, but Goten countered, deflecting each attack with a confidence he'd never felt before.
At one point, the creature managed to knock Goten back, but he quickly recovered, his Supreme Kaioken energy stabilizing him. He focused, channeling his KI into a single, powerful attack.
"Supreme Fist!" With a roar, he unleashed Red Huge Ki Fist that surrounded Goten's body like a Arua to which it was as large as the Great Evil's torso, the energy piercing through the darkness and Goten striking into the creature's core.
The Great Evil let out a deafening roar, its form beginning to dissolve under the intensity of the attack. The shadows writhed and twisted, unable to withstand the overwhelming power of Goten's evolved Kaioken. With one final cry, the creature shattered, its dark energy dispersing into the air, leaving only silence in its wake.
As the dust settled, Goten lowered his fists, his aura dimming as he returned to his normal state. He was exhausted, but a sense of peace washed over him. Aragorn and Trunks approached, their faces filled with pride and relief.
"You did it, Goten," Aragorn said, his voice filled with admiration. "You honored Eldaron's sacrifice."
Goten managed a tired smile, looking at his friends. "We all did."
With the Great Evil vanquished, the darkness lifted, and the realm began to heal. The three of them made their way back, the weight of their journey settling over them, but their spirits lifted.
They knew they had not only avenged Eldaron but had also fulfilled his final wish, protecting the elf realm from the darkness that had threatened to consume it.
As Goten and Trunks stood together, catching their breath and gazing at the peaceful realm they had fought so hard to save, a deep, echoing voice resounded within their minds.
"Goten, Trunks," the voice said, ancient and powerful, with a hint of warmth. They immediately recognized it Shenron, the Eternal Dragon. "Your families have gathered the Dragon Balls and summoned me. They wish for your safe return. Will you allow me to bring you back?"
Goten and Trunks exchanged a look, smiles breaking across their faces. They both nodded, sending their silent agreement to Shenron. But just as the light began to glow around them, Aragorn stepped forward.
"Trunks," he said, his voice low and filled with respect. He held his sword out toward the young Saiyan, the blade gleaming with the light of the dawn. "Take my sword. Carry it with you as a reminder of our world and what you've done for us. May it serve you in your future battles."
Trunks, surprised and deeply moved, accepted the sword with both hands, looking up at Aragorn with gratitude. "Thank you, Aragorn. I won't forget you or everything you gave us. I promise, I'll always fight for what's right."
Aragorn smiled, resting a hand on Trunks's shoulder. "Remember, never give up, no matter how dark things may seem. True strength comes from within, and you have that strength, Trunks." He turned to Goten as well, nodding with respect. "You both do."
Goten and Trunks stood tall, feeling the weight of Aragorn's words and the responsibility they had taken on. As the light from Shenron's magic surrounded them, they waved goodbye to Aragorn, who watched with a proud smile, his figure slowly fading from sight.
In a flash of golden light, the two boys were transported back to Earth. When they opened their eyes, they saw their families waiting for them, faces filled with relief and joy. Chi-Chi and Bulma rushed toward them, embracing them in a flurry of hugs.
